To be honest, snack streets like those on Bangkok Street are really hard to see in other countries or cities. I think I have been to many places, cities and snack streets, but only one Bangkok impressed me the most.
I went to Bangkok once a few years ago and stayed there for seven days. I had to go to the snack street with a bottle of cold beer in my hand every night, and I bought whatever I wanted. The price was very cheap, and I didn't have to worry about being unclean.
I haven't been to Kuala Lumpur, but a close friend has been there, and when he came back, he told me "the price is high". I asked him how he ate, like those snacks, and he just said "just so-so".
In fact, it's easy to compare that the snack street in Kuala Lumpur can't catch up with that in Bangkok, but it can't be denied that there is no better snack street in Kuala Lumpur. I just mean that there are snack streets in Kuala Lumpur, but they can't catch up with the level in Bangkok.
