Songyang has a very long history, with a history of more than 2,100 years and a profound cultural heritage.
Although Songyang does not have the luxury and entertainment of many big cities, it has beautiful mountains and clear waters and beautiful scenery. It is a tourist attraction that we Songyang people are proud of. The culture, celebrities, sacred scenes, products, etc. that have been nurtured by this thousand-year-old town of Songyang are endless. As a Songyang native, I will briefly mention them here.
When I was a child, I lived on Fenghuang Mountain on the north side of Main Street. Main Street is an old street in Songyang. I heard from the elders that it used to be the most prosperous area in Songyang. Morning and morning are the busiest times in the old street. There are various shops there, including grocery stores, barber shops, teahouses, cloth shops, salt shops, etc. There are also "small picks", which, as the name suggests, are carrying burdens, which may contain some seasonal fruits and vegetables, some chickens and ducks, or needles, threads, brains, etc. Most of the people who come to the old street to "pick something up" are country people. They all talk about the various experiences they have experienced in the town and some interesting things in the countryside. After setting up the stall, they began to sell in the Songyang dialect. Every word in their mouths sounded so sonorous and powerful without losing harmony. Although the people of Songyang are not as elegant, fashionable and personable as people in big cities, their hard-working, simple and kind-hearted qualities are commendable and incomparable.
After a while, the old street was filled with people, and people were crowded together. Children will always take advantage of the opportunity to worm their way through the crowd like loaches. In the past, some houses in the old street had not yet been demolished. Most of them were two-story blue brick attics. People who liked to express themselves would carve dragons and phoenixes on the wooden lattice windows or on the gate towers, cover them with blue bricks and small tiles, and also decorate them in a creative way. Fan the screen. There are also two- and three-story bungalows built with red bricks. In the middle is a quiet and elegant path paved with bluestone slabs. The bricks and tiles of the old street are mottled with vicissitudes of life, and they seem to be tenaciously guarding the memories of the past and witnessing the people and things that happened here.
? Last year I went to Fushan. It is surrounded by water on three sides and has fresh air. It is known as "Floating Mountain, Floating Water, Floating Mountain". It has the reputation of Penglai on the sea, which shows its beautiful scenery. Fushan is not only a thousand-year-old Buddhist holy land, but also one of the thirty-six caves of Taoism. It is also a famous cultural mountain, with nearly 500 extremely precious cliff stone carvings left by literati of all dynasties, ranging from the Tang and Song Dynasties to the Republic of China, with various calligraphy works. Some are clear and rigorous, some are rich and full; some are dignified and beautiful, and some are flying like dragons and phoenixes. There are also famous scenic spots such as Tathagata Peak, Yunv Peak, Xuanyuan Peak, Bajie Pilgrimage Stone, Longnv Cave, Yitian Rock, Peach Blossom Stream, etc., which make tourists fascinated and linger on.
? Songyang is also a hometown of celebrities, and celebrities have always appeared in large numbers. Such as Fang Bao, Zhu Guangqian, Zuo Guangdou, etc. Fang Bao is known as the originator of the Tongcheng School. He created the theory of "righteousness and law" and advocated the unity of "Tao" and "literary". Zhu Guangqian has knowledge of both China and the West, and is knowledgeable in both ancient and modern times. He is the most famous aesthetic master in modern my country and has won a high international reputation. Zuo Guangdou, a famous minister of Donglin, was known as the "iron censor". He was not afraid of power and listed 32 of Wei Zhongxian's 32 crimes that were punishable by execution. He was tortured to death in prison at the age of 51.
