Zhangjiagang, formerly known as Shazhou, was abandoned in September, 1986, named after Zhangjiagang, a natural harbor in China. The natural environment in the territory is superior, including Xiangshan, Jiyang Lake, Phoenix Mountain, Yong Lian Town and other scenic spots.
2. Xiangshan Scenic Area
National AAAA scenic spot. Located in Zhangjiagang Free Trade Zone (Jingang Town), with convenient transportation, it covers an area of 4.37 square kilometers, the mountain is 2.3 kilometers long from east to west, 1.9 kilometers long from north to south, and the highest point is 136.6 meters above sea level. It has always been called "Eighteen Scenes of Xiangshan". Xiangshan is famous for picking incense in Wu Fei (Xu Xiake). "Eighteen Scenes of Xiangshan": including Tibetan Army Cave, Meihuatang, Taohuaxi, Cai Xiang Trail, Shengguotan, Tingsongyin, Diaoyutai, Xiyanhu, Shihumen, guanyin temple, Lianchatang, Yuanjita, Shengqingchi, piling well, Menyeyu, Tiantai Stone, Guigong Cave and beacon tower.
3. Jiyang Lake Scenic Area
National AAAA scenic spot. It is the city living room of Zhangjiagang, which uses advanced ecological concepts and technologies to introduce nature into the city and artificially create a natural ecological wetland landscape. Jiyang Lake Ecological Park is divided into seven areas, namely Happy World, Holiday Park, Holiday Plaza, Waterfront Leisure Park, Luozhou Island, Jinghu Ecological Park and Jiyang Lake Wetland.
4. Phoenix Mountain Scenic Area
National AAAA level scenic spot, Jiangsu go on road trip base. The scenic spot is located in fenghuang town, a famous national historical and cultural town and the hometown of Wu Ge, China. The mountain of Phoenix Mountain is east-west, just like a phoenix spreading its wings, so it is called "Phoenix Mountain". Ever since Yongqing Temple was built in Chiwu period in Wu Dong, it has been a good place for tourists to visit. There are eight views inside and outside. "Inner Eight Scenery" includes Santan, Sijing, Guyi, Kongyang, Xiufeng, Liquan, Prime Minister's Tomb and the First Reading Desk. The "Eight Scenes" include the sound of books at the bottom of the lake, Ji Fang Brewery, fishing songs in the harbor, pastoral songs in Chai Tian, singing songs on the banks of mulberry trees, swimming in the lotus pond, pine trees falling into English, and beautiful houses drifting.
5. Du Dong Court Scenic Area
National AAA scenic spot. Located in the north of Tangqiao Town, Zhangjiagang City, it was established in August 1994. It covers an area of 275 mu, which is the starting point of Jian Zhen's sixth successful eastward crossing. The main building of the scenic spot is the Du Dong Memorial Hall in Jian Zhen inscribed by Mr. Zhao Puchu. There is a bronze statue of Master Jian Zhen in the museum, and a large wooden screen inscribed by Sun Pinghua, president of the China-Du Dong Friendship Association. This hatchback corridor has a wooden portrait screen of Jian Zhen Du Dong and a calligraphy tablet inscribed by Jian Zhen Du Dong in past dynasties. There is a pavilion in Yuanxi. 1963, on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the death of Master Jian Zhen1963, the National Memorial Committee established a stone pavilion here. Dongdu Temple, Cultural Corridor, Ancient Yellow Temple Paving Zhaobi, Waterscape Tea Room and other landscapes are built in the east of the garden, which is the shooting place of CCTV TV series Jian Zhen Du Dong.
6. Yong Lian Town
The national AAAA-level scenic spots have tapped local resources and built tourism resources such as Suzhou Jiangnan Agricultural Culture Park, Yong Lian Fishing Center, Yong Lian Water Park and Jiangxian Food Street. , a Jiangnan pastoral life experience place integrating tourism, leisure and holiday, food shopping and other functions. You can play all the year round: spring outing to the agricultural park, summer playing in the water world, autumn picking melons and fruits, and winter soaking in fluorine hot springs. There is a distinctive Jiangxian Food Street in this town, where famous restaurants such as Shazhou Style and Jiangxian Hotel are gathered. Jiang Xian Food Festival is also held every year. There are more than 20 kinds of local products in the scenic spot, such as Yong Lian rice, homemade rice wine, handmade oil, Yangtze white silk, dried grass head and deer antler wine.
7. Changyinsha Scenic Area
National AAA scenic spot. Located in Zhangjiagang Modern Agriculture Demonstration Park, it faces the Yangtze River in the east and Nantong across the river. It is a riverside leisure area integrating catering, accommodation, business meetings, leisure and entertainment, barbecue and fishing, picking and sightseeing, and vacation and recuperation. It has built four major industries of "high-quality rice, fruit and vegetable gardening, special aquatic products and leisure tourism" and four major tourism brands of "riverside scenery, pastoral customs, ecological agriculture and educated youth culture".
