China Chef's Day is a high-standard catering activity sponsored by China Cuisine Association. Known as "China Chef Summit", "World Chef Olympics" and "Canton Fair in catering industry", it is held once a year.
The main purpose is to promote Chinese food culture, show the characteristics of the host city and the new features of the catering industry, exchange and improve the level of cooking skills, promote the better and faster development of the catering industry in China, improve the status of Chinese food in the world catering industry, and provide a platform for colleagues in the Chinese food industry to show their achievements, exchange experiences and learn from each other.

The first Chef's Friendship Festival was held in Jinan in June 199 1 10. Formerly known as "China Twelve Cities Chef Friendship Festival", this name has been used until the Shanghai Chef Festival in June 1998. 1999, renamed as "China Chef's Day" from the 9th session.
In 2000, the scale and grade of the 10th China Chef Festival were further improved. "China Chef's Day" is one of the exhibitions supported by the Ministry of Commerce, also known as the "Olympic Games" of the catering industry in China.
