Later westward extension project: Xinqiao-Luoyang section, which is currently in the construction feasibility stage, is planned as a first-class highway with a speed of 80 kilometers per hour and six lanes in both directions.

The starting point of this project is located near Minfeng Village, Jinqing Town, National Highway 228. The route extends from the planned Jinbei Avenue from east to west, crossing the Sihe River, Sanjiang River and Jiaojin Line. The line continues to cross the two rivers to the west via Lianzhong and Lianbei Village, then through Linjia Industrial Zone and Shugang Avenue after Desheng Village, then through Sancai Well after Houzhengjia Village and Guanjia Village to the west, and then through Baijia Line after Xia Liang Industrial Zone.
