As an ornament lover who loves DIY, I often hoard some beautiful fabrics at home and try many fabrics with different materials. I think yarn fabrics like organza and chiffon are more suitable for making flower ornaments. In my spare time in the afternoon, I made a replica of the Flower Fairy Earring, which has been in my shopping cart for a long time.

It is not difficult to do this. The required materials are cloth, accessories (3 split rings, a pair of earplugs and a long stick), needle-nosed pliers, scissors and lighters.

First, we can find out whether there is a suitable pattern on the cloth. There are some flower embroidery on my tulle, which I think is very suitable for earrings.

Cut them out, and then cut four ellipses of different sizes as "petals".

Then bake the edge of the cloth with a lighter to avoid subsequent winding.

The most complicated steps have been completed, and now we just need to assemble the prepared fabrics and accessories.

Because this kind of earring is asymmetrical, a long rod will be added to an earring when it is made to produce different length effects.

Finally, the flower earrings and earplugs we made are matched with pearl earrings, and you're done.

The advantage of making your own earrings is low cost. You can choose accessories with better materials, such as 925 silver or silver-plated materials. The price of online earrings varies greatly. Although some of them are cheap, their service life is often short.
