Travel through ancient and modern times and reminisce about the past! Drive BYD Qin with the goddess of learning and enjoy the Holy Land of Laoguang!

Hello everyone, I am Slowly Feng Zhenlian, a professional in new media and photography. I like cars and photography because cars are objective and can quantify experience and data; while photography is subjective and there is no yardstick for good or bad. For me, motion and stillness are two completely different worlds, so they are particularly attractive.

Ibao was a top student in my high school class. She was the representative of the history subject. She especially admired Chinese history and traditional culture. She often said, "I have been to so many places." After traveling to many countries, I still find Chinese culture the most attractive!” Yi Bao’s job requires traveling all over the country, and she is based in Shenzhen. Recently, due to the epidemic, she had some free time, so she bought a new car and showed off the car in her circle of friends all day long. She knew that I liked photography and cars, so she contacted me and said that she hadn’t been to Guangzhou for a long time and wanted to drive a new car to Guangzhou and asked me to guide her. In fact, it may have been a long time since I stopped to experience, or rather appreciate, the city I have been living in. Although many people live in their own cities, they often have no idea about it. We yearn for poetry and distance, and always want to go out, but we always ignore the scenery around us. The beauty of a gentleman's adulthood, so I did my homework and re-experienced this "most familiar and unfamiliar city" with her

After looking at the beautiful pictures, our trip to Guangzhou has officially begun!

My home is close to Guangzhou International Baiyun Airport. It takes about 47 minutes to go from my home to Lizhiwanyong. In other words, it takes about this time to get from the airport to Lizhiwanyong. For old Guangzhou people, Lizhiwanyong is a living fossil of Lingnan culture. If you want to experience the customs of Guangzhou, especially the culture and heritage, Lizhiwanyong is definitely a place that cannot be avoided. It’s been eight years since I’ve been to Lai Chi Wan Chung, so it’s time to revisit the past! Recall the past stories.

I switched seats with Yibao, and I became the driver, while she just patted me casually on the passenger seat.

Soon we entered the urban area of ??Guangzhou. The roads in the urban area of ??Guangzhou are relatively narrow, and the different roads on and under the bridges are complicated. If it is your first time to travel to Guangzhou, you will probably go there often. get lost.

Finally arrived at Lychee Bay. After several years of absence, there has not been much change here. Only in this river, the water quality has become much turbid. I originally wanted to add a filter to it to make it look more respectable, but I feel that Lychee Bay is not suitable for adding any filters to modify it and destroy this original and real appearance of Lychee Bay, which retains the traces of the passage of time. That’s what it looks like at its best!

The history of Litchi Bay can be traced back to the founding of Guangzhou more than 2,200 years ago. In 206 BC, Liu Bang, the emperor of the Han Dynasty, sent Lu Jia to Guangzhou to persuade Zhao Tuo to surrender. At that time, Lu Jia was stationed in today's West Village, built a mud city, planted flowers, lotus roots and lychees by the river, and began to operate this scenic spot, " Hence the name "Litchi Bay".

On the coast of Lychee Bay, there are many favorite delicacies of Laoguang.

The smoke of fireworks hidden in the commotion made me feel particularly close. When I was in college in 2012, my freshman girlfriend lived nearby. I still remember that I was in love with her at the time, so she took me to Lai Chi Wan Chung for fun. That was my first time to Lai Chi Wan Chung. It was my first time to go to the old town of Guangzhou. I ate a lot of special delicacies that I had never tasted before and made many memories of each other.

Familiar scenes and familiar food, but the people who used to be there have long disappeared at the end of the sea of ????people.

Ibao also became interested in the special delicacies along the way. She said that she must bring something back to Shenzhen when she comes to Guangzhou, and her car has enough space to store no matter how much she buys. I quite agree with this. BYD Qin’s space is really good!

This is the legendary Bo Zai Cake. You must try it when you come to Guangzhou!

Besides there are some small toys full of childhood memories. Here, time seems to go back, as if returning to ten or even twenty years ago, when carriages and horses were very slow to deliver mail!

Beside Litchiwan Bay, there is also a Liwan Museum, but because the epidemic has not yet completely ended, the museum is still not open to the public. Yibao expressed some disappointment, but I said that looking forward, the scenery ahead will be better.

On the coast of Lychee Bay, there are arcades with Lingnan characteristics. According to the uncles and aunts in the small shop downstairs, each building has its story.

After visiting Lychee Bay, we found a place to take a rest and take a good look at this new car from Ibao!

If you just rely on this set of "star light" LED headlights, can you guess what kind of car Ibao is talking about?

One more tip! The handsome guy who guessed it immediately left me a message, and Yibao said there would be bonuses for guessing correctly!

Okay, let’s not get carried away. In fact, Yibao’s favorite car is the BYD Qin. According to her, this car uses the Dragon Face family design, and the front face is a three-dimensional moving grille. and starlight LED headlights. I don’t know how to design! But it’s really good-looking. I haven’t seen such a stunning appearance on a domestic car for a long time. This outstanding design may be a major reason why Yibao chose this car.

Ibao asked me to take a photo of her and her car, so I’ll take it! She said she must reveal her love for cars, so I said lift up your skirt!

The Nebula’s bright LED taillights are also a unique aspect of this car. Yibao said that the first time he knew this car was when he saw its taillights on the road, so he later chose this car. The story of the trolley.

After seeing Cippo’s new car and visiting Litchi Bay, Cippo and I parked the car and ran towards Panxi Restaurant, the most famous gourmet check-in spot next to Litchi Bay. The store is only 50 meters away from Litchi Bay.

Panxi Restaurant is well-known in the Lingnan food culture circle. It is the largest garden-style restaurant in China. Together with Beiyuan and Nanyuan, they are also known as the three major garden restaurants in Guangzhou. In September 2016, Guangzhou Panxi Restaurant was selected into the list of "The First Batch of China's 20th Century Architectural Heritage".

The previous life of Panxi Restaurant was the hometown of "Changhua Garden", the imperial garden of Liu Chang, King of the Southern Han Dynasty more than 1,000 years ago. ". In 1947, Li Wenlun, a Cantonese, founded a small restaurant full of country style in this "ancient flower dock". At the beginning, it was a small restaurant with only 40 employees, 200 seats, covering an area of ??400 square meters, and was built with wood, bamboo and fir bark on the lotus pond. The foods sold are mainly dishes and snacks based on the local specialty "Pantang Wuxiu" (lotus root, water chestnut, mushroom, water chestnut, wild bamboo shoot). Due to its good management and its unique local flavor foods such as authentic suburban shrimp sausage, Pantang water chestnut cake, Bazhen bamboo shoots, suburban big fish head and other unique local flavor foods, it is deeply loved by the public and its reputation gradually spreads. In 1958, the restaurant was renovated with state investment. It resumed business two years later and was named "Panxi" after a nearby creek. This is the past and present life of Panxi Restaurant!

Walking into the main hall, Panxi Restaurant is dominated by Chinese classical design. It is the first choice place for many old people to drink morning tea! Morning tea culture has a long history in Guangdong and even Guangzhou. When you come here with Yibao, you must have something to eat.

Liwan Tingzi porridge, shrimp dumplings, chicken feet, dry-fried beef river, steamed taro with ribs, Pantang water chestnut cake, etc. are all must-try delicacies for morning tea with Lingnan characteristics.

Ibao couldn’t wait to pick up a piece and taste it. She said that although Shenzhen seems to be more modern than Guangzhou. However, Guangzhou’s customs, history and culture, especially its food, are beyond the reach of Shenzhen.

After eating, night had already fallen outside.

Lizhiwanyong finally saves some face at night. Beautiful lights decorate the antique buildings here. At first glance, they have a somewhat similar charm to Fenghuang Ancient City!

The day’s journey to Litchiwanyong is over. Let’s talk about C’estbon’s car and some of my car experience.

Ibao said that he bought the car a few months ago, but it has only driven less than 1K kilometers. Yibao often travels on business, so after buying the car, he used it for walking on weekends. Fortunately, this car is fuel-efficient, with fuel consumption basically being 6 to 6.5L per 100 kilometers.

The LCD screen in the driver's seat can display tire pressure, water temperature, and fuel consumption; the central control's UI and human-vehicle interaction functions are also very good, and all the necessary functions are available.

After driving BYD Qin for a day, I walked around Guangzhou city and got a preliminary understanding of Yibao’s car. The fuel consumption of the 1.5L naturally aspirated engine + CVT gearbox is indeed very low. When driving in urban areas and in many traffic jams, the average fuel consumption is about 6~7L per 100 kilometers. The fuel economy is very good. The performance exceeded my expectations. The power performance is very smooth in the economy mode and the acceleration is very linear; switch to the sports mode and the response is very sensitive, faster than most turbocharged models. This is rare nowadays. The texture of the chassis is remarkable for the same price range, and it is full of toughness, which may be related to the participation of Mercedes-Benz engineers in tuning. The design of the central control is also good. The LCD floating screen is 10.1 inches and can rotate. It still has a sense of technology.

As for why you chose this car? With this question, I asked Yibao again. Yibao said that first of all, this car has good space, and I feel spacious even if I am 1.76 meters tall. Secondly, in the same price range, the sound insulation is also quite good, and it feels like it is not inferior to some of my parents' luxury cars. In addition, I like Chinese history, especially the culture of the Qin Dynasty, Han Dynasty, Tang Dynasty, and Song Dynasty. In her opinion, Chinese culture is the most profound and sentimental culture in the world, and Chinese writing is the most artistic writing. It can be seen that high cost performance, good car experience, as well as identification and enthusiasm for Chinese culture are other reasons why C’estbon chose Qin.

Ibao said that in addition to the attractive appearance of this car, the interior is also inspired by regular script, and it is very textured in every square inch. I think she really loves this car, which is very similar to the feeling I had when I first bought a new car.

As a BYD car owner and BYD fan, Yibao believes that BYD has high hopes for Qin. And its meaning is hidden in the highly artistic Chinese seal-cut characters.

As for why BYD named this compact car Qin.

Yibao believes that Qin was the first unified dynasty in Chinese history. Qin successively destroyed Han, Zhao, Wei, Chu, Yan, and Qi, and completed the great cause of unification, ending the five hundred years of division and separatism among princes since the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period. The situation ended the division of China, laid the foundation for the rule of a unified Chinese dynasty, and had a profound impact on China's history more than two thousand years later. Perhaps BYD hopes that this car, like Qin, can open up market territory, seize market high ground, lead the future trend of BYD and even Chinese brand cars, establish an image, and have a profound and lasting impact on China's car culture and China's car history. . This is what Yibao believes that Qin means!

And Yibao also specifically told me that her BYD Qin has Dilink2.0 intelligent network connection system, as well as OTA intelligent remote upgrade control system, cloud services, and BYD mobile APP keys. She also gave I demonstrated it again. I have to sigh that the current automotive Internet technology is developing so fast.

Ibao really loves this car very deeply. , I still want to continue to experience this car. So, I plan to drive again tomorrow to verify whether my view is correct.

Early the next morning, we set off from Lychee Bay to Haixinsha. Haixinsha, or Zhujiang New Town, is currently recognized as the CBD of Guangzhou and is the most urbanized place in Guangzhou. How is its charm different from Litchi Bay, which has a history of thousands of years?

While passing through Xicun Road on the way, the nearby Canton Tower and the river and private houses not far below the tower contrast with each other. It feels like a world away and yet so far away!

Guangzhou Opera House is located at No. 1, Zhujiang West Road, Tianhe District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province. It is one of the landmark buildings on the new central axis of Guangzhou. It is located in the Tianhe Central Business District, east of It is adjacent to the Guangdong Provincial Museum and Guangzhou Library, the U.S. Consulate General to the west, the Pearl River and Haixinsha to the south, and the Guangzhou International Financial Center to the north.

Ibao said that the moment he saw the Guangzhou Grand Theater, he really felt like he had traveled back in time. We are both in Guangzhou, but it is only half an hour's drive from the ancient Lychee Bay with a thousand-year history to the Guangzhou Grand Theater; the collision between classical art and modern art is shocking!

At this time, the sun above my head was relatively hot, and Yibao took away my umbrella in one fell swoop without saying a word.

Suddenly, I was very angry! I issued a strong condemnation, but she didn't take it seriously, with a look of provocation on my face!

Ibao not only gave me a fierce look, but also gestured towards me and said: "Remember this!"

The design of the Grand Theater is simple and frigid. wind. From time to time, you can also see some young people coming here to take pictures.

Although the Grand Theater was also closed, the transparent locked glass door attracted Yibao’s attention. She walked forward and leaned against the glass and asked me to take a few pictures of her. Although I was very reluctant, let's take pictures.

The feeling of glass reflection does give it a high-end feel when photographed.

Below the Grand Theater is a huge hollow space, which can not only provide shade but also take some photos, which is quite good.

While passing by here, Yibao asked me to take a picture of her and her car BYD Qin. In fact, as long as the location is chosen well, it is not impossible to quickly take a photo of people and cars in the CBD.

BYD Qin's side view is very slender. Judging from Ibao's height of 1.76 meters, it is not out of proportion.

After experiencing Haixinsha and the Guangzhou Grand Theater, it was already afternoon. Yibao expressed that she still wanted to go swimming. She said that she had seen on the Internet that there was a place called K11 in Zhujiang New Town, and she asked me Take her there. I thought, I haven’t been to K11 either, so let’s go.

K11 is very close to the Guangzhou Grand Theater and is indeed worth a visit.

The buildings here are dense and tall. People who are afraid of heights may have sweaty palms when they raise their heads. Don’t ask me how I know.

K11 is very beautiful at night.

The design and decoration inside K11 are very luxurious. It is a place where many young people who follow the trend come to check in. And there is a unique aroma inside that permeates all parts of K11. The smell is very special.

First we went to find a very beautiful internet celebrity check-in point, which is a small library.

This small library is called "Hong Kong and Taiwan Books". It is very small, but the lighting decoration inside is very beautiful. In fact, it is part of the cafe next to it.

After walking in, of course you have to take photos. In addition to being a driver, you also have to be a photographer. This trip to Guangzhou is not easy.

This look seems to have a problem with me.

The name of this book is a bit strange. At first glance, I thought it was an article by Guo Siniang, but later I found out that it was not.

This picture of Yibao looks a bit like a certain star. Can anyone guess it?

You pretend to read and buy books, but in fact the cart is full of milk tea. Is this how you become a top student?

I have to say that the design of this library is really beautiful and unique, and I don’t want to leave.

That being said, let’s go to the next floor for a walk!

The elevator in K11 is very beautiful. Every photo you take is a blockbuster. Look how happy Ipoh is.

Walking upstairs, Yibao saw a mirror in the window next to it, and hurried over to Smei. Are all girls who like BYD Qin like this?

I also want to take photos and check in when I pass by some beautiful shops. . .

What are you doing? You want to buy clothes?

Is it that fragrant?

The elevator here is so grand that it looks like the roots of a plant.

After finishing talking and taking photos, Yibao and I continued to take the elevator to have fun. At this time, a store caught my and Yibao’s attention.

This store may seem inconspicuous, but when you walk inside, it hides a secret.

This is a small exhibition hall with a very simple style and full of literary and artistic atmosphere.

For the sake of image, Yibao tried hard to pretend to appreciate the painting.

Looking at this expression, it seems that he is not very satisfied with this painting. By the way, the prices of the paintings here are all marked, often tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands, which is not easy.

There are also very special places nearby. K11 can really satisfy people’s curiosity.

Ibao also imitated the gestures on this wall.

It’s quite stylish!

Okay, I know, come on!

After visiting K11, the day is over. It means that the self-driving trip to Guangzhou is also over.

I have no objections to this car in terms of appearance, space, power, sound insulation, comfort, and fuel consumption. Even Yibao, a soft girl who is 1.76 meters tall, doesn't mind. I don't think I, a boy, would have any objection. It is said that German engineers participated in adjusting the three major parts of this car, and its safety has also reached a five-star level, which is indeed very good. There are many aspects of this car that reveal Chinese classical culture. It can indeed capture people like Yibao who love Chinese history and culture, have a strong sense of identity with Chinese culture, have high requirements for car quality, and pursue cost-effectiveness.

Finally, the journey is over. After talking about BYD Qin in Cibao, I should also talk about this trip to Guangzhou after eight years. For me, it is indeed a process of re-understanding my own city. .

I have to lament that urbanization is developing so fast that many familiar scenes from childhood have gradually become blurred and unfamiliar. In other words, this is not vague and unfamiliar, but completely changed and completely disappeared. When we are young, we always want to go out, as far away from home as possible, and feel that we have a pair of wings that can fly over mountains and oceans. You want to fly and run far away, but when you look back at night, you will find that the people and things you were once familiar with have gradually disappeared, and the traces of their past have been constantly impacted, occupied, and replaced by new things. Maybe in ten, twenty, or thirty years, many things will only remain in our memories. Just like the girl who once accompanied me through a wonderful period of youth and ran under the sunset, she no longer knows where she is. Time is like a rolling wheel, it will only move forward with no return. Looking back suddenly, do you want to catch the tail of youth? But you can’t catch it just because you want to. While it's still there, while you and her are still young, while you still have a car. Let's go, drive your car, and experience and record the beauty of the world. Use the steering wheel and camera to retain the temperature, speed, tenderness, and anger in life, and condense the good things of today; to grasp the concentration of life, and to boldly and frankly reveal your own feelings and attitudes. One day, you will finally understand that life is not a waste, why is the dust flying around!

Actually, I took a lot of beautiful photos of Ipoh during this self-driving trip. There are a lot of them, so I don’t plan to post them all.

As long as everyone supports me and gives me likes and comments, the 1000th floor will automatically unblock the welfare pictures!
