Chengdu Medical College is a provincial medical college in Sichuan Province. The history of the school can be traced back to 1947, the training course for health cadres in Henan and Anhui Soviet areas. In August 2004, the State Council and the Central Military Commission decided to hand over the school to the Sichuan provincial government and become a provincial medical college.
In 2006, the school obtained the authorization of bachelor's degree and became the authorized unit of 20 1 1 master's degree. In 20 13, the school "Sichuan collaborative innovation center for the aged and the elderly health" became the first collaborative innovation center in Sichuan province.
