Huangliu old duck is a famous dish of Han nationality, belonging to Hainan cuisine. It is made of 1 old duck, ginger, garlic and salt. Huangliu Duck originated in huangliu town, Ledong in 1980s. A local couple opened an old duck shop in this town. Because of its fine selection of materials and unique practice, the old duck meat is pure but not greasy, which is deeply loved by local diners. In the 1990s, the restaurant "Yellow Willow Duck" became popular all over the island. The biggest feature of Huangliu old duck is the word "old".
