On the first day, I suggest you sign up for a one-day trip to Beijing and see if the hotel you are staying in has reservations. You can sign up online now, not at the station or airport. They are all scams.
They won’t take you to many major attractions and will make a lot of excuses.
Take a day trip the next day, or go on your own.
The locations are: The Great Wall and the Ming Tombs, which generally include the Bird's Nest and Water Cube. The ticket price is about 100 yuan. If it is not included, you can come back to Dongsi this evening, not far from where you live, and take the subway. The night view is more beautiful than the daytime. These two places are more beautiful.
If you don’t go in to visit, there is no admission fee. On the third day to go to the Summer Palace, Tsinghua University and Peking University, you first take bus 109 or 846 to Xisi and walk for a while, then change to bus 808 or 826 and go directly to the Summer Palace (30 yuan/person). When you get to the Summer Palace, there is Tsinghua University.
You can get off the bus and visit first, then go to the Summer Palace and finally go back directly. When you come back in the evening, take bus 808 or 826 to Xidan for a walk and something to eat. Then you can take bus 109 directly in front of Xidan shopping mall and go back to Longfu Temple (East of the Art Museum) and Old Summer Palace.
I don’t recommend you go to the Science and Technology Museum. I think the first ones are very representative and it’s really impossible to visit them all in three days.
