This summer vacation, our family went to the capital for a trip. This was my first time to Beijing, and I realized that Beijing is much more beautiful than I imagined. Buildings were rising one after another when entering Beijing, and the intricate overpasses made the city look more beautiful. I was dazzled.

First of all

The first thing we went to was Tiananmen Square. It was already crowded with people. I saw the Tiananmen Gate Tower first. To the south was Chairman Mao Memorial Hall, to the east was the National History Museum, and to the west was the People’s Republic of China. In the Great Hall, in the middle of the square is the Monument to the People's Heroes

. There are two huge TV walls placed in front of the Monument to the People's Heroes, which show scenes of military parades and people of all ethnic groups dancing and celebrating together. We took many photos here as souvenirs.

Then we went to the Underwater World. The first thing we saw was the tall CCTV Tower. The Underwater World is just below the tower. Turn left at the entrance to the Underwater World. It's a long tunnel. As soon as I stepped into the undersea tunnel, I felt as if I was swimming in the depths of the ocean. Huge reefs, colorful coral bushes, and colorful beauty shrimps were very close at hand. I was dazzled by the wide variety of colorful corals and fish of different shapes swimming past me in groups;

The big shark was sleeping quietly in the corner; the hundred-year-old beetle, Slowly pacing forward above my head; there were many tropical fish, and what I didn't expect was that there were Antarctic penguins swimming slowly in the water, which really surprised me

Eye-opening.

Finally we came to the World Park, which includes the Great Wall, the Five-Storied Tower, the Roman Arena, Stonehenge, the Statue of Liberty, the Grand Canyon, the Egyptian Pyramids, and the Sphinx.

< p>Notre Dame de Paris... Walking around the park feels like traveling to every corner of the world. It's so beautiful! My favorite thing is the waterfall. It's so cool sitting under it that I don't want to go out. I reluctantly left until my mother told me to go back.

Some people are happy because they have learned something, and some people are happy because they have read some books. But my happiness is different from theirs. My happiness is the happiness of traveling.

This is my first time to Beijing, my first time seeing Tiananmen Square, my first time going to the underwater world, and my first time seeing famous buildings from many countries. Ah! I have had a fulfilling day today and I am also very happy. I will remember what I saw and heard on this day and our lovely Beijing.
