Skiing in Japan: How can I overcome my fear?
This is a travel note about my sister skiing in Japan, with a guide.

0 1

On February 9th, Hoshino skied for the first time.

When we arrived at Hoshino Resort in Hokkaido, it was already past 4 pm. After renting and debugging the equipment, it's almost 5 o'clock. At this time, we can only skate at night.

It was a snowy night and the light was not strong. I'm a little worried, but Mr. Lu says you can do it.

Then the three of us got on the cable car directly, halfway up the mountain, and then slipped down.

I want to cry when I get off the cable car.

Before that, I only skied in Yuhua Mountain in Xi once. Naively thought it was called skiing, but now I'm dumbfounded: that's playing house, and this is a real knife and a real gun.

The slope is so steep, the wind is blowing, and there is snow and fog. I was scared when I looked at the cliff five meters away. What if I fall?

But how can we get down if we don't slide down?

The ski lift is only for sitting, not for sitting.

So bite the bullet and slip away.

I was worried about the baby, so I asked Lou to protect her and go first. I'll figure it out myself.

With my only memory, I tried to balance, but I was still a stranger. If I skate 100 meters at most, I will fall.

Fortunately, the snow was thick and I wore thick clothes, so I didn't feel any pain.

I sat there, nailed to the snow by a long snowboard, unable to stand up.

I became a human roadblock.

I really want to grow wings when I watch the people next to me whizzing past like flying fish.

In this way, rolling and sliding down, I became the last one in the whole night show.

Until the staff who came to patrol by motorcycle asked: You can take my motorcycle. Do you still want to try?

I hesitated for a while, I didn't know which rib decided yes, but I decided to slide myself again.

I stumbled all the way and fell several times. Once I hit my head first, then rolled over several times and plunged my face into the snow. Fortunately, it is powdery snow, otherwise my face would be disfigured.

There is still a paragraph, simply sitting on the snowboard and sliding down, helpless+rogue.

It took others five minutes to skate, and I spent 1 several hours.

When I can see the finish line, I want to cry, just like seeing my own mother.

Tips: Before getting on the slide, you still need to practice more in the driving range, and then get on the cable car. Remember: if you go up, you must slide down by yourself.

We are all very careless, thinking that, like China, there will be guardrails or fences next to the mountain slides. As a result, there is nothing, and sliding down is a cliff.

Do Japanese people pay so little attention to life safety? I will talk about this in detail later.

On February 10, Hoshino skied for the second time.

The shadow of the night before was too heavy. Is it slippery?

I convinced myself to overcome my fear and give myself another chance to try.

I can see clearly during the day, which is much better. The number of falls gradually decreased, and finally I could not fall for the first time.

In Xueyuan, men, women and children abound, including white-haired grandfathers and kindergarten babies wearing small vests.

You think, if they can do it, why can't I?

When soaking in a hot spring, the child asked, why is your ass black?

At first glance, I fell in love with Qing Wu, but I didn't even know it!

On second thought, fortunately, it was the hip that was damaged, not the face, but it was still worth it.

Tips: Beginners can wear hip pads and knee pads. After all, it's better to have beautiful hips.

On February 1 1 day, Hoshino skied for the third time.

You don't have to mobilize yourself, you can go skating happily.

This time, we can finally successfully cross the primary jungle slide.

I took another cable car up the mountain and slipped off the slide without wrestling.

Mr. Lu told me that this was the night we skated last night.

I can't believe it: really? Are you sure?

Is this a slide that makes me cry and cry?

Last night, I obviously felt that this slide was too long, and I couldn't slide it completely by myself.

Although I have a great sense of accomplishment, I still can't skate. I can only exert myself with my left leg. I can't keep my balance and it's hard for me to brake.

Tips: Skiing is a technical job. If you have no friends to teach you, it is necessary to hire a coach.

February 18, Baima village, skiing for the fourth time.

Baima Bafangweigen is the largest ski resort in Japan, and it is famous as the venue of Alpine Gyro in 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics.

I didn't do my homework well, so I slipped and went to the middle road for the first time.

The slope was steep, and soon, their father and daughter disappeared.

Later, I thought skiing was always a personal adventure.

Because skiing is all on slopes, people can't climb up on foot when they go down. Even if there was a companion, he slipped away and could only watch from a distance, which could not help you.

You must learn to save yourself.

Stand up by yourself. If you can't stand up, take off your boots. If you can't have a snowball fight, use your hands. If your hands can't, use your fists.

In short, don't shout for help unless you have to.

However, I underestimated it.

The slope and difficulty of the middle road are much greater.

I fell two or three times again. Once the slope couldn't slide up, and my boots couldn't be unlocked with my fist. A snowball fell a few meters later and had to be taken back.

I am so anxious that I am about to cry.

A few minutes later, suddenly someone greeted me and handed me the snowball I left behind.

At such an embarrassing moment, everyone was wrapped like a zongzi, and I actually remembered his face, which was very handsome.

Later, I forgot how I got up, but the key is that I lost my confidence in the previous times, plus the special period, sliding or not?

Just like the first night, I can roll and crawl to the bottom on the snowboard, and then rest next to it, but I don't want to give up halfway, just like I learned diving before.

So no matter how I fall, no matter how scared I am, I still insist on putting on my equipment and sliding down instead of rubbing on the board.

Finally, at the end, I began to observe how other people skate, listen to the coach passing by and look at the children around me. All five or six-year-olds skate well.

There is a little girl in a rose-red ski suit, who looks only three or four years old. She ran down a steep slope and screamed all the way, but she succeeded.

When she slipped to the end, she spoke a string of Japanese behind her mother, and the little girl responded kindly to her. I guess it was her mother's encouragement.

Indeed, newborn calves are not afraid of tigers. My daughter is over 8 years old. She learns things faster than me and has great courage.

In the middle of the road, she didn't wrestle.

The mountains cross, the corners fall, and then get up, never back down.

On the last day, she was able to skate on the slide of the Winter Olympics, although her posture was not beautiful.

Many times, the fear of adults comes from the psychological evil influence: I can't, I can't, I can't, I dare not.

This is the best reason and excuse, especially for me, who barely passed physical education class in school and has underdeveloped sports cells.

So I'm going to try to convince myself to throw them all away.

Overcome your fears, but do your best.

I kept boarding the cable car on the primary road, practiced by myself, and slowly realized and felt the change of the center of gravity.

At the end of the business, I finally managed to get rid of the ugly S-shape.

This is also an imperfect test paper, but it has a complete answer to this skiing.

I am a mother, and I am myself.

We often say that if we want our children to become what they are now, we must first become what they are now.

For children, I hope what she sees is not a mother who gives up halfway.

For myself, I'm glad to see myself who still skates badly but never gives up.

Tips: If I give up halfway, not only will I always have regrets, but I will also make my children regret it.

Being a mother who faces difficulties or gives up despite difficulties, Kaner is mentally.

If people can be comfortable between being kind to themselves and being cruel to themselves, then they are basically finished.

Finally, let's talk about slides in Japan.

Take the cable car before going up the slide.

The disadvantage of the cable car is that the platform doesn't say which floor is suitable for skating, so you must do your homework in advance.

There are guardrails that can be pulled down on the cable car, but in most places, the staff will not help you pull them. Help yourself. Anyway, people will fall when they bow their heads.

Beside the slide, there are no guardrails and fences, and there are no protective measures. If you really can't control it, rushing down is a cliff.

Figuratively speaking, it is skiing on the Panshan Highway.

Do Japanese people pay so little attention to life safety?

At first, I thought they were great. Later, I thought that the people on the slide were either adults, children who followed adults, or children who had studied.

Either way, you are responsible for your decision and your life.

Before boarding the cable car, you should learn the basic skills and skate on the primary road, otherwise it will become a human roadblock like my first time.

If not, don't do it.

This free-range skiing mode may come from Japanese education.

Because they didn't protect their children from childhood.

For example, many kindergartens have no plastic floors and desks have no corners.

The director said that he would take the children to see the corner and make them feel that it would hurt to hit it, so that they would pay attention.

But there will still be children who accidentally hit them, but from then on they will know how to be careful.

Protection is rarely done below the second floor, and the encrypted guardrail is only done on the third floor.

In other words, their safety boundary is on the second floor, allowing children to try to control the danger within a certain range to avoid unacceptable and serious consequences.

In addition, children have strong self-care ability, and children over 3 years old take care of themselves.

From this point of view, it is not difficult to explain why radish heads that are only a few years old can be seen everywhere on the slides that I think are very "dangerous".

Tips: Believe in children, let go moderately, and strengthen the education of self-protection awareness in peacetime. This is my experience.

Attachment: What do I need to bring when I go skiing in Japan?

1, if it's just an ordinary experience, not an enthusiast, just bring your own clothes and small equipment. Snowboards (single board, double board), boots and snowball fights can be rented.

2. Ski clothes: If your suitcase is big enough, you can buy it yourself. If you don't want to buy it, you can rent it locally We adults didn't buy or rent. We used our own jacket and trousers+fleece+thermal underwear, which is also my equipment for going to Tibet. Beginners suggest buying or renting jumpsuits. When I fall down, snow will pour into my body, and it will be cold to the end. Skiing is hot, so don't wear too much. But remember, clothes and pants should be waterproof!

3, snow boots: play in the snow every day, the first necessary condition of boots is waterproof. Usually wear non-slip and light boots, and rent special boots when skiing.

4, gloves: the same as boots, but you need to prepare two pairs of gloves, one pair is usually used for playing with snow, and it is lighter to move your fingers; One pair is for skiing, thick and warm. Ski gloves can be rented.

5. snow goggles: The snow in the sun is dazzling. If you don't want to be snow-blind, you should be prepared, but it is sold or rented everywhere in the local area, which is very convenient.

6, hat: there is no special requirement for the material, as long as the wind blows. Skiing and playing with snow are both needed.

7, headgear: only the eyes are similar to robbery, because the wind is strong when skiing, my nose is red with cold. Hats and hoods are used to stick to the face. Buy it yourself.

8. Friends who go to Hoshino, when shopping in the duty-free shop in the tower, remember to bring their passports. Haiyun Cable Car Store is not duty-free.

9. Ski tickets for White Horse and Octagonal Root can be purchased at the inn, with a full-day ticket of 4,800 yen and a ski resort of 5,200 yen, but only a half-day ticket of 4,200 yen can be purchased at the ski resort.

These are all lessons that my sister paid for. If it helps you, please forward it:)
