Standard recipe for American iced coffee

Ingredients: 125g coffee powder, 280ml~300ml purified water,

Put the coffee powder in a glass bowl (or stainless steel bowl). Add 280ml of purified water. Stir gently to fully contact the coffee powder with the water. 2) Cover the lid and leave it at room temperature for 8 to 12 hours.

After 8 hours, open the lid and stir gently. Fresh coffee oil will float to the top, and most of the coffee grounds will sink to the bottom.

Then filter out the espresso liquid. There are many tools that can be used, such as fine filters, gauze, etc. The coffee concentrate can be stored in the refrigerator for a week when not in use.

How to make iced Americano: Just mix concentrated coffee with water. The ratio is 1 part coffee and 3 parts ice water. Add some milk or syrup according to your preference.
