Front Square

The front square is located behind the main entrance of the scenic spot. The front square is a small activity place, where Diaozhuang holds various activities many times.

Front Garden

The front garden is planted with various plants of different Chinese and western varieties, such as the local Wanli tree in Kaiping and the western variety-Green Niman transplanted from abroad. When these two trees are planted together, they become the "couple tree" in Diaozhuang, which is consistent with the combination of Chinese and western in the Diaolou. Visitors can enjoy the plants here and have a rest in the beautiful scenery here. Of course, they must not miss the sixth special snack beside the front garden.

Xuanwen Building

Xuanwen Building is located at the back of Fun Garden. It used to be a watchtower of ordinary houses. After being renovated in Kaiping Diaozhuang, visitors can freely visit.

Xiang Ji Lou

The watchtowers in Kaiping can be divided into two categories: private buildings and public buildings. Private buildings are equivalent to modern private villas, and public buildings are jointly built by the whole village as a defense against bandits. And this elephant building belongs to the public building, and it is also the largest building in Kaiping. Xiangji Building was completed in 1924, with a five-storey building and a history of 86 years. Xiangjilou has experienced a hundred years of history, witnessing the century-old development history of Kaiping and the hard struggle of the people in Kaiping's hometown of overseas Chinese! Visitors can climb to the top of the tower and have a panoramic view of the tower.

Lingnan Waterway

Lingnan Waterway separates the tourist cultural square from the activity center, and its design is modeled after the waterway of Lingnan Garden. It adds the flavor of Lingnan Garden to Diaozhuang, where tourists can stop for a while and enjoy the water features of Lingnan.

the shrine is Guanyin hall, which was built in 1923 and has a history of 87 years. This Guanyin Hall is very different from the traditional folk Guanyin Hall in China, which we are familiar with. This Guanyin Hall is closely related to Kaiping's hometown culture, which reflects the strong hometown culture of overseas Chinese people in their daily lives. Guanyin Temple is a unique Guanyin Temple combining Chinese and Western styles. The first half is a typical western style, with concrete structure as the main part, and the gate is tall and solemn as a church. The second half is a Lingnan-style building, mainly made of bricks and tiles, decorated with a lot of gray carvings and wood carvings, and there are murals painted by skilled craftsmen.

Folk Handicraft Gallery

Folk Handicraft Gallery gathers a variety of exquisite Lingnan folk skills. Here, the long-lost handicraft skills such as tanghua, dough kneading, straw weaving and glass burning make tourists feel like they are back in the childhood market. As a tourist, you can not only watch the making process, but also make a gift for yourself or your relatives and friends.

Activity Center

The activity center is a large-scale activity venue, and Kaiping Diaozhuang held various activities here, such as the first Kaiping Diaozhuang Overseas Chinese Food Festival on December 9, 21, and the first Kaiping International Wushu Exchange Conference on October 9, 21. This Wushu Exchange Conference brought together more than 3 Wushu teams from 15 countries and regions to participate in the competition.

DIY classroom

DIY classroom provides a place for tourists to have fun.
