Hello everyone, I am a good travel diary. I will take you to travel with me along the way.
When we travel to a place, we first choose local attractions or taste local specialties. Lueyang is a small mountain county. Although the county is not big, it also has its own unique scenery and delicious food.
Lueyang Can Can Tea
I was fortunate enough to participate in the "Internet Celebrities See Hanzhong" event organized by the Cyberspace Administration of Hanzhong City. The first stop was Lueyang.
Lueyang is a beautiful small mountain town. The entire county is surrounded by the majestic Qinling Mountains. Standing in the county town, you can often see the clouds and mist in the mountains and the looming green trees, showing the beautiful scenery of Lueyang.
There are many characteristic delicacies in Lueyang, the most distinctive and representative one is "cans of tea". Cans of tea is a traditional refreshment in rural areas of Lueyang. It is said that Lueyang was the eastern territory of the Baima Di people in ancient times, also known as the ancient Qiang people. Cans of tea is a legacy of the ancient Qiang people.
Under the leadership of the organizer, we came to Crouching Villa not far from the county seat to drink cans of tea. Crouching Tiger Villa is located 3.5 kilometers south of the county seat and can be reached by going south along the Jialing River.
Crouching Tiger Villa is still somewhat famous for its cans of tea. It is not far from the county seat, so there are quite a few people who come here every morning to drink cans of tea.
The so-called canned tea is to put water in a clay pot, add tea leaves and boil it on the fire. While boiling, add batter, add clear oil, and add fennel, patchouli, and so on. Ginger, salt, walnuts, diced meat, egg flowers and other condiments and seasonings. When guests come to the countryside, they will cook a pot of tea like this for breakfast, which is absolutely refreshing and warm.
I have a few suggestions for the cans of tea at Crouching Tiger Villa. The canned tea here is made by the host himself and then served to everyone. If conditions permit, it can be made into canned tea for the guests to cook by themselves. This not only allows you to experience the making process of canned tea, but also Feel the essence of ancient Qiang food culture and I believe business will be better.
Lueyang Lingyan Temple
After drinking cans of tea, we came directly to the "Lingyan Temple" after leaving Crouching Tiger Villa. Lingyan Temple is a national 2A-level scenic spot. It is built on the rocks on the east bank of the Jialing River. It is very spectacular.
According to records, Lingyan Temple was built during the Kaiyuan period of the Tang Dynasty and has a history of more than 1,300 years. In Lueyang, I think Lingyan Temple is quite a sight to behold, with history, culture and age.
Lueyang Lingyan Temple is composed of two natural caves, which are adjacent to each other. There are towers and halls in the temple, all of which are built against the mountain and are well-proportioned. Standing in Lingyan Temple, you can also enjoy the majestic Qinling Mountains. The mountains are shrouded in clouds and mist, just like a fairyland. It is so beautiful that people don’t want to leave.
The most interesting thing about Lingyan Temple is the cliff carvings on the walls, which are the legacy of many famous historical celebrities from the past dynasties when they visited here.
It is said that during the Sui and Tang Dynasties, this place was also the center of exchange activities. Many military strategists, thinkers and various literati and poets left their traces in Lingyan Temple. Among them are Li Bai, Du Fu, Su Shi, Wu Daozi, etc. whom we are familiar with, all of whom have left a legend in Lingyan Temple.
According to records, there are more than 100 cliff stone carvings in Lingyan Temple in Lueyang. Each piece condenses the history of Lueyang and carries the glorious past of Lueyang.
At the last cave entrance in Lingyan Temple, according to the commentator, a glass plank road will be built from here to a natural cave in the back mountain of Lingyan Temple called Plum Blossom Cave. It is expected to be completed in two years, and you can take a look at it then.
I think it would be better if this glass plank road was built on the edge of the county, such as between Nanshan and Yushan. As long as vehicles passing by the county can see it, they might stop and board it. The glass plank road built from Lingyan Temple to Meihua Cave is basically submerged in green plants. Without a lot of publicity, no one will see it.
In the exhibition hall of Lingyan Temple, there are four characters created by Queen Wu Zetian. It is said that Wu Zetian created 19 characters in her life. These four characters are found in Lingyan Temple.
According to legend, when Wu Zetian was still a student, she and her teacher went boating on the Jialing River. When passing by Lingyan Temple in Lueyang, they saw the towering peaks and shrouded clouds and mist. They were so shocked that they came to Lingyan with their teacher. Temple tour.
In the temple, she saw a jade pillar standing upright against the sky and the ground. She was very curious, so she went over and hugged the jade pillar to feel the feeling of standing upright against the sky, so she built this jade pillar in the temple. Four big characters.
The commentator in the temple said that these four characters read "support the heaven and the earth". Friends who are interested can watch my video and listen to the commentator's wonderful explanation.
The commentator in the temple said that of these four characters, only the last character "埊" is real, and the other three characters have long since disappeared. I tried it, and the second one also exists. Because you can type "搘" on your mobile phone, there are only two extinctions, not three.
The earliest traffic rules in Lueyang, "The Order of Ceremony"
In Lingyan Temple, there is also a stone tablet "The Order of Ceremony" from the Southern Song Dynasty. It is a cliff stone carving that records ancient traffic rules. On the stone carvings are engraved twelve characters: "The cheap should avoid the noble, the small should avoid the strong, the light should avoid the important, and the going should avoid coming."
This "Ritual Order" is a "traffic law" and is also the earliest ancient traffic rule discovered so far in our country. The time recorded on the stone tablet is the eighth year of Chunxi in the Southern Song Dynasty, which is 1181 AD.
So what do the twelve characters engraved on this stone tablet mean?
(1) The lowly should avoid the high-ranking: In ancient times, people were divided into three, six or nine levels, that is, according to their levels, low-level people or carriages and horses had to avoid high-level people. When ordinary people go out and encounter officials, they must give way.
(2) Avoid elders: When young people go out, they must give way when they encounter older people.
(3) Light and avoid heavy: It means that a light rider should give way to someone who is carrying a heavy load on the road.
(4) Go and avoid coming: that is, those who are going downhill should avoid those who are going uphill.
It can be seen that Lueyang was still a major transportation thoroughfare in ancient times.
Lueyang Jiangshen Temple
After visiting Lingyan Temple, our group came to Jiangshen Temple again. Jiangshen Temple is located on Huancheng West Road in the county seat. It is also the most complete ancient theater building with Di and Qiang style.
Jiangshen Temple covers an area of ??more than 2,000 square meters. There are a large number of colored paintings and wood carvings in the temple, most of which reflect ancient traditional culture, folk etiquette, mythology, etc.
According to county records, Jiangshen Temple was built in the Ming Dynasty and rebuilt during the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty. This was an important wharf in the Jialing River Basin in ancient times. Therefore, it was also a place for boatmen and merchants to carry out rituals, sacrifices, gatherings and entertainment activities.
After the visit, the beautiful commentator of Jiangshen Temple sang a local ditty for everyone, "It takes a needle to pick the walnuts from the shell".
