Laitan Ancient Town is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction, located 28 kilometers northeast of Hechuan District, Chongqing. It was founded in the late Tang Dynasty and flourished in the Song Dynasty, with profound historical and cultural connotations. The ancient town covers an area of 0.25 square kilometers and consists of upper Laitan and lower Laitan. Among them, Shanglai Beach is located on Jiufeng Mountain, and Xialai Beach is located on the west bank of Xiaqu River.
