As far as I know, the food streets frequented by Nanjing locals are Laomendong and Confucius Temple.
Laomendong: It is a gathering place of traditional houses in Nanjing, with many local time-honored brands and snacks, such as Xiaozheng duck oil sesame seed cake, Shudetang rescue sesame seed cake and Lushi plum blossom cake.
Confucius Temple Food Street: The buildings in the block are simple and elegant. There are dozens of Nanjing-style snacks such as bean jelly, duck blood vermicelli soup, stinky tofu, soup packets, skin-bellied noodles, osmanthus duck and other traditional local delicacies along the street.
