Jiaxing Science and Technology City follows the principle of "high starting point planning, high-grade construction, and high-level agglomeration". The core functional area of ??the first phase has gradually formed a "dual-core, six-park" pattern with Tsinghua University and the Chinese Academy of Sciences as the leaders, and the software park, communications park, chip park, materials park, biology park, and incubation park are flourishing.

It has settled in more than 100 institutions of various types, introduced more than 250 doctors and masters, and nearly 100 people who have returned from overseas studies.

Its total revenue from technology, industry and trade increased from 26 million yuan in 2006 to 1.7 billion yuan in 2008, an increase of more than 60 times in two years.

According to the medium- and long-term plan of “building momentum in five years, taking shape in eight years, and becoming a city in ten years”, by 2015, Nanhu District of Jiaxing City, with Jiaxing Science and Technology City as the core, plans to achieve an output value of 80 billion yuan, and use this to drive related industries in the province

With an output value of more than 200 billion yuan, it has truly become the main platform and core area for Jiaxing City to build a provincial and regional innovation system sub-center.
