Flight process: 1. Arrive at the airport.

2. Go through check-in procedures (that is, change your boarding pass).

Be careful not to carry prohibited items in your checked luggage. After completing the check-in procedures, the check-in staff will return the passenger coupon, boarding pass, luggage ticket, and ID card to you.

3. Go through security check.

Go to the security check channel. There is a security check counter at the entrance of the channel. You hand your ticket's passenger coupon, boarding pass, and ID card to the security inspector. The security inspector will stamp the boarding pass if there is no problem.

Then go through the security gate. The items you carry with you must pass through the X-ray security inspection machine next to the security gate, and you must pass through the security gate yourself.

If there is no problem with the security check, enter the terminal.

4. Waiting.

After passing the security check, look at the boarding gate indicated on your boarding pass for your flight, find the terminal corresponding to the boarding gate, and wait in the terminal at the gate number.

The airport will have a display showing the location of each terminal. If you are not sure, you can ask the airport service personnel.

Find the terminal and rest there, waiting for the announcement to board the plane.

5. Boarding.

After hearing the boarding announcement, a service staff will tear up the boarding pass at the boarding gate. You should go to the boarding gate and hand the boarding pass to the service staff. The service staff will tear off a small piece of the boarding pass and return the other parts to the boarding pass.

6. Find the location on the machine.

Your seat is marked on the boarding pass, such as: 5D, 11C, etc. The number represents the row, and the seats in each row are A, B, C, D, E, F.

7. Meals.

During the flight, the airline distributes free drinks. For long flights, during meal time, free meals are provided (just a box lunch, which is not delicious and the quantity is small). For short flights, snacks are provided.

8. Arrival.

After the plane arrives at the destination station, if you have checked luggage, remember to pick it up. There will be a baggage pick-up area on the way to the exit.

Things to note when flying. The general sequence of check-in procedures is as follows: (1) Take your ticket and ID card (an additional health declaration form was added during SARS) to the designated counter (usually you can see a large screen as soon as you enter the terminal.

(3) When checking in luggage, some airports will charge an insurance fee of about 10 yuan, such as Fuzhou Airport; if your suitcase is not locked, some airports will force you to spend 5 yuan to buy a small lock, such as Guangzhou Airport.

(4) When carrying a fruit knife, it is best to put it in your checked luggage, otherwise it may be confiscated 90% of the time.

In addition, small animals cannot be brought on board the plane, and a quarantine certificate is required to check them in, which is quite troublesome.

(5) The checked voucher is usually affixed to the ticket. After arriving and taking out the luggage, a staff member will check whether the checked voucher matches the label on the luggage.

(6) Flight delays or cancellations Generally, as long as the flight is delayed, the airport will provide free drinks or meals during meal time (it seems that those in the evening are more likely to be taken care of than those at noon).

If the evening flight tells you that it cannot fly that day, it depends on the situation.

It is due to aircraft maintenance, flight deployment, etc. The airport will provide food and accommodation.

Due to weather, emergencies, air traffic control and other reasons, you can only refund or change the ticket. In this case, the airport does not care about food and accommodation.

(7) Flight overbooking Overbooking means that the number of tickets sold on a certain flight exceeds the number of seats on the aircraft.
