Shrimp and crab belong to higher crustaceans, with similar kinship and body structure, and their foreheads and pincers are like swords. From April 27th to August 22nd, 2121, Guangdong Provincial Museum specially planned a feast of shrimps and crabs-the original exhibition "Shrimp Soldiers? Crab will be ",to feed the audience.

Shrimp and crab are very common in daily life, and they are "frequent visitors" on people's dining tables, but the audience may not know about their natural science knowledge. The theme of the exhibition is the natural science knowledge of shrimps and crabs, and 371 exhibits of fossil specimens, living shrimps and crabs and related cultural relics are selected. Through the exhibits, the audience can trace the origin of the shrimps and crabs, analyze their body structure and living habits, and understand the species and characteristics of the shrimps and crabs through observation and analysis, so as to distinguish the "truth" and "falsehood" of the shrimps and crabs.

the exhibition is divided into four parts. The first part, "Tracing the Origin of Shrimp and Crab", traces the origin through a series of rare ancient fossil specimens, showing the ancestors of Shrimp and Crab and their evolutionary routes. Which comes first, shrimp or crab? Swimming or crawling first? Maybe the audience will find the answer here. The second part, "Understanding Shrimp and Crab", shows the basic knowledge of Shrimp and Crab. Through the morphological structure, basic characteristics and habitat of shrimps and crabs, the exhibition explains in detail which arthropods can be called shrimps and crabs. The third part, "The True and False of the Shrimp, the Soldier and the Crab", is the highlight of the exhibition. Among nearly 11,111 crustaceans with the names "Shrimp" and "Crab", only some members can be called shrimp and crab in the true sense. By dividing the four families of shrimps and the main sects of crabs, the living specimens and pictures of nearly 51 species of shrimps and 251 species of crabs are listed and displayed, covering most common species in life, so that the audience can master the ability to distinguish between "true and false" shrimps and crabs. The fourth part, "Culture Cuisine of Shrimp and Crab", enriches the connotation of the whole exhibition, mainly showing the literature, diet and artistic creation related to shrimp and crab, and leading the audience to experience all kinds of interesting stories and legends and food culture of shrimp and crab in their lives from the literature and artistic works.

during the exhibition, curators' guided tours, academic lectures and popular science education activities will be held one after another, so that the audience can have a more comprehensive understanding of the exhibition through various forms of educational activities. At the same time, exhibition cultural and creative products and popular science three-dimensional picture books will be launched, so that the audience can take the exhibition home after watching the exhibition.

The special feature of this exhibition is that it uses a refreshing series of square hanging pieces as decorative elements from the preface hall. Through the combination and light and shadow effects, these hanging pieces rose from the ground to the air at the beginning of the exhibition hall, which seemed to connect heaven and earth and a blue ocean, firmly attracted the audience's attention and introduced them into a space full of natural elements. Then, the hanging pieces sometimes churn over the exhibition along the direction of the exhibition, and sometimes go straight, guiding the audience to move forward continuously; Finally, the hanging pieces spread out in the hollow space between the fourth floor and the third floor of the exhibition hall, on which the specimens of marine animals were hung. All kinds of marine animals seemed to be swimming in the blue ocean, and there were huge dinosaur fossil specimens under it, and the dinosaurs seemed to be relaxing in the blue sky. The whole exhibition is divided into seven relatively independent exhibition halls according to the relevant contents, and finally the whole exhibition is ended in the presentation of environmental protection issues and various environmental protection anniversaries. It can make the audience learn about Guangdong's natural resources with interest and gain natural science knowledge with ease and pleasure.
