Diary of Shanghai University Dining Hall
Yixin
Yixin Dining Hall has two floors. On the first floor, there are mainly self-selected dishes, dumplings and some simple pasta. It can be said that "the first floor of Yixin is a paradise for the poor." A big bowl of noodles for breakfast even costs 5 yuan money! If you can't buy it, you can't buy it at a loss! Because the price of self-help dishes here is cheaper than other canteens, and most of them remain at around 11, 12 and 13 yuan (of course, you can't rule out eating all the food in the sea until 21 or 31), but the self-help dishes on the first floor of Yixin are mixed. Some people think it is too oily or salty, but it is ok for me anyway.
Yixin's second floor will be a little more advanced, with slippery egg rice, bibimbap, iron plate rice, pasta ... everything. Of course, there are more varieties and the price will be higher. A meal is between 15 and 21, but it's really delicious! Therefore, there are generally more people on the second floor, and it is simply too difficult to grab seats at lunch. Moreover, it is located on the road leading to the new century, so Yixin University is my first choice as well as most people's.
Ermei
Ermei really deserves this name, and it is the most beautiful canteen! There is also a terrace on the second floor. Except that it is very hot in summer and very cold in winter, this terrace is very artistic and romantic, giving the canteen the feeling of candlelight dinner. Ermei's dishes will be more abundant, including Hong Kong-style clay pot rice, crispy duck rice, mala Tang, fish with pickled vegetables, and even grass jelly and milk tea. In short, you can basically find Ermei. The price here is similar to that on the second floor of Yixin, and it is also around 15~21.
In summer, Hermite watermelon juice and poplar nectar are my spiritual comfort! Eating here is a good mood! However, because it is beside the playground, it is far from the teaching building, and Shanghai University has less lunch breaks, so it doesn't often come to Ermei for dinner during class.
Shanming
Shanming canteens are mostly halal canteens for some minority students and international students. For the convenience of international students, they are opened near the dormitory of international students. Shanghai University is still very human! But the Shaanxi mutton and steamed buns here are really delicious. It's good to experience the profoundness of Chinese food once in a while, and you can meet many foreign students and friends ~
Shuixiu
Shuixiu should be the nearest canteen to the teaching building. Every time after class at noon, it will be crowded, and if you come late, you won't be able to eat at all. I think the most important thing in this canteen is convenience, as well as selling some portable fast food such as hamburgers and sandwiches for those students who are in a hurry. Of course, there are also some special dishes in Shuixiu canteen, such as five-grain fish powder, egg-sliding rice and spicy incense pot, which are still very good. It's just that there are really too many people who order food, and I really don't want to.
Wu Xin
Because this canteen is located in the southern district, only students from the southern district will go here to eat. I've only been there once and left a bad impression on me, that is, it's expensive and terrible! The whole big leak! However, if there are students living in the southern district, you can explore it. It seems that there are eggs sold at the entrance of the canteen. I hope you can find the charm here!
Liuyun
Speaking of this canteen in the East District, I have to mention the fried noodles on the far right of the second floor! I don't know if it is still open now, but this is really delicious on earth! Liuyun canteen is next to Qian Weichang Library in the East District, which is far from the teaching building and dormitory, but my roommate and I agreed to go here once a week to enjoy a plate of fried noodles when we were freshmen.
it is simply the enjoyment of taste buds and the release of the soul! In addition The Mao Mao Meat Pot on the first floor is also very good. Generally, graduate students and some teachers eat here, so the environment is good and the dishes are good. Personally, I think we can try it by wading through mountains and rivers!
Orange Neighborhood
Finally, the orange neighborhood is located in the new century college student village. Because the new century is an off-campus dormitory, it is still very troublesome to go to the school to eat in the canteen on weekends or when there is no class. For a lazy person like me, even walking to the gate of the new century to get takeout is hard for me. Therefore, orange neighborhood is my first choice on weekends!
There are pickled fish, mala Tang, duck blood vermicelli soup, braised chicken, saliva chicken, porridge ... (I lived in the new century) Anyway, the variety is quite complete. The most important thing is that it's under Building 22, and it can be packed and taken back to the dormitory to eat. Don't be too happy, okay? !
