Implication, such as red beans and acacia, in a long time ago, dice were generally made of white jade and were also precious gifts.
Where is Bai Yu? I don't have any, but there are some bodhi roots.
As early as before, I watched the video of making linglong dice Anhoudou and was very interested. I was going to make more and send them to my friends, but unfortunately, it took too long. On second thought, make a car pendant and give it to dad.
One: two things are needed, bodhi root and red bean.
Two: Besides, I need frosted paper. I have prepared 60cw, 60 and 80, 500cw, 2000cw and 5000cw. In the end, I found that this 5000 was useless. I forgot, anyway, everything is going well. The smaller the number, the thicker it is, and the greater the friction.
Three: vise, fixed to the bodhi root and ground into a cube. It's too late to finish grinding, it's almost twelve o'clock, and the light is not very good. Just make do. )
Four kinds: hand twist drill, twist drill, milling cutter, round knife, flat file and round file (the thin and long one is hooked, and the last one is hooked). It's all about polishing details. If there were any other way, you wouldn't have to think about it.

At first, I was afraid of hurting my hand, so I wore a finger cuff. Although it is useless to grind it for a while, it is also convenient to wear it with bare hands, but I am afraid of hurting my hands, so I suggest wearing it.
All right, here we go.
Choose a bodhi root that looks pleasing to the eye, and use the sharp side to draw a circle on 60cw sandpaper to grind it. Must be on a horizontal plane, don't tilt, or you won't look good when you look back.
One side has bud eyes. Grind for a while to see if there is any. If not, grind it on the other side. One side with bud eyes is a little, and the middle is empty. After grinding other surfaces, they must be parallel. If it is crooked, find it early and grind it back.
First grinding. I have no experience. I'm afraid I'll get crooked. I am grinding on six sides.
A small pit in the middle is the bud eye.
Keep grinding until there is no shell edge.
Put the bud eye up, put the fixture on it, fix it, and put the twist drill on the hand drill to drill holes. The middle is empty, so be careful not to drill the opposite space.
Then use the biggest milling cutter to smooth the hole of the dice until it can go in and out freely. I forgot to shoot, but I'll know what it means when I start shooting.
Then put a circular file and take out the red beans a little bit at the bud eye, as long as it is a little bigger than the mouth, so as to prevent the red beans from falling out.
For the other two, three, four, five and six points, it is best to measure the position with a pencil ruler and mark it before punching. Don't grind it for a long time, it will be crooked and not irritating.
Drill a hole with a small twist drill.
Draw a circle on 500cw paper and grind off the pen marks. I've always stressed that painting is round and afraid of slanting. At first, it was convenient for me to grind straight back and forth, but my face was crooked.
My four corners were also ground on 500cw, and I filed them flat with a flat file, which looks better and is more round. Don't file those who like sharp corners.
2000cw polishing.
In fact, 2000 grinding angle, 5000 planing, I grind to the end, 2000 grinding, I think it is not bad, I don't want it to be too like a mirror, I gave up 5000 and forgot, this mainly depends on my personal preference.
There is dust and debris in the hole. Put a circular file in a hole and grind it twice in the air, and it will be clean. Finally, I took a small brush for art and brushed it again to remove the dust.
An important step, a flood, my hand was almost broken and I didn't press it in. Repeatedly use various files to enlarge it a little bit in the middle. It proved to be very useful, so I went in. This step depends on a miracle. Don't think that red beans will fall. It's stuck so tightly that it won't fall out without external force.
This linglong dice Anhong bean is ready, followed by pendants, bracelets and small pendants.
Ok, I'll go home on holiday to see my dad off.
Although it is the first time to do it, the effect is very good. It takes more than 6 hours from 5: 00 to 1 1: 30, including meals and rest. Polishing takes time, from an hour or two to four or five hours. It's been a long time, but seeing a raw material carved into a hope by myself, no matter how much I don't want to continue, I expect it to be swept away. Every point of persistence is to see the final result.
I hope everyone can get the handicraft they want to carve most, and the effort is in direct proportion to the most desired result.
