Part 1 Potato Pancakes
I recently fell in love with a kind of food, the potato pancakes made by my grandpa. Since having it, I will never eat French fries outside. .
The preparation of potato pancakes is very simple. First peel the potatoes and cut them into small pieces, then cook them and press them into mashed potatoes. Add a little salt and mix evenly with an appropriate amount of flour. , then knead it into pieces of dough and spread it into cakes by hand, so that they can be fried in a pan. The potato cakes make a "cracking" sound in the oil pan. When both sides are golden, the potato cakes are ready to be taken out of the pan. My mouth is watering now. The potato cakes are fragrant and beautiful. Paired with a bowl of porridge, it is really top-notch delicious.
Grandpa is really kind to me. For my health, he often learns to cook new dishes, and he succeeds every time.
Part 2 Delicious Chicken Wings
There are many ways to make chicken wings. Today, I am going to learn how to make delicious chicken wings with Coke.
First, put the chicken wings in cold water, then blanch the chicken wings over high heat, and turn off the heat when a lot of foam appears on the water. Wash the blanched chicken wings with clean water, drain and place on a plate.
Next, turn on the heat again, arrange the chicken wings neatly in the pot, fry both sides of the chicken wings over low heat until they are slightly brown, add the ginger slices, and pour in cola and soy sauce. Although I took every step carefully, my hand was still burned by the spilled Coke, but I didn't say anything because my mother told me: If you want to learn to cook, you must be brave.
Pour in the cola and soy sauce, then turn up the heat to bring the soup to a boil, then turn to medium heat and simmer for about 15 minutes. When 1/3 of the soup is left, turn up the heat again to reduce the juice. The soup will be thick. You can turn off the heat and load into a plate.
I tasted one and it tasted very good, with a moderate amount of salty and sweet, and extremely delicious. I gave it an auspicious name called "Spread your wings and fly high".
Chapter 3 Steamed Bowl
Steamed bowl is a famous delicacy in the ancient city of Chang'an. It is named because the ingredients are placed in the bowl and then steamed over fire. The steamed bowl has a rich aroma and is popular among all ages. Suitable for everyone, especially during the New Year season, it is more popular.
My grandfather would make steamed bowls at home every year on the 27th of the twelfth lunar month. Braised chicken and steamed rice noodles were his must-make steamed bowls. When I got up early in the morning, my grandpa started to prepare various ingredients, then oiled them and applied sauces, which required more than a dozen processes! It took until the afternoon to finish the steaming bowl. My mother was helping my grandfather while he was studying. I heard my mother ask my grandfather: "You work so hard every year to make so many steamed bowls, and finally give them to relatives and friends. How many bites can you eat? Are you not tired?" Grandpa simply said He replied: "It doesn't matter if you're not tired or eating. What's important is to enjoy the process of making it. Everyone is looking forward to the steamed bowls I made during the Chinese New Year because they like my craftsmanship and I feel a sense of accomplishment!"
I thought: This may be a kind of inheritance, the inheritance of Chang'an food culture. In the near future, my mother will also master this craft. When I grow up, I will continue to pass on this food culture.
