The four major food capitals in China are: Chengdu, Shunde (District), Macau and Yangzhou.

"Gourmet Capital" is the title of one of the member cities of Creative City Network (UCCN), a project of UNESCO. The organization * * * awarded seven categories of titles, including handicrafts and folk art, media art, film, design, food, literature and music. Up to now (2121) * * * 36 cities have won this title. Four cities in China won this title, namely Chengdu (2111), Shunde District (2114), Macao Special Administrative Region (2117) and Yangzhou City (2119).
