Nicaragua canal construction scheme
The concrete idea of the Grand Canal is to connect several natural rivers in Nepal, and its best route is: from the Atlantic Ocean to the Escondido River, then through the Miko River and the Eurasian River to nicaragua lake, then into the Las Lahas River, and finally into the Pacific Ocean in the brito-Lavehon section.

Nicaragua's two oceans canal plan has three schemes:

The first scheme is "trunk canal", that is, transshipment goods are transported from one end of the land to the other by railway;

The second scheme is a small canal for barges to pass through;

The third option is the Grand Canal through which cargo ships can pass.

At present, the third scheme is considered to be the most feasible. The Nicaragua Canal under design is about 300 kilometers long, of which the lock part is 420 meters long, with the width and depth exceeding 60 meters and 22 meters respectively, which is enough to pass all kinds of freighters and tankers of 300,000 tons. According to the plan of the National Canal Committee, the funds for the construction of the canal will mainly come from the investment of international and domestic private enterprises, and the Nicaraguan government will hold 30%-33% of the shares of the canal enterprises.
