Keep upright
When feeding the baby, try to make the baby stand upright, which can reduce the swallowing of air. Try to hold the baby tight, let his head tilt slightly, and make the passage between esophagus and stomach smoother.
Control feed speed
If the milk flows too fast, it is easy for the baby to eat the air by mistake. Slow down so that the baby has enough time to enjoy the food. Try changing a nipple that flows slowly, or tilting the bottle to make the milk flow more slowly.
Help the baby burp
Pat your baby on the back or let him lean on your shoulder after feeding, which will help him expel gas from his body and reduce the frequency and intensity of hiccups.
Avoid overfeeding
Feeding too much can easily make the baby burp. Don't let the little one eat too much according to the baby's needs.
