Yulin Road expresses the people of Anhui's memory for Song Yulin, the martyr of the Revolution of 1911.

In order to express the people of Anhui's memory for Song Yulin, the martyr of the Revolution of 1911, the long street from Taiping Temple to the west to Jinbaomen in Anqing was renamed Yulin Road.

Hence the name of Yulin Road Sub-district Office.

Yulin Road in Chengdu was named Yulinba because Chengdu was the capital in ancient times and the royal guards stationed here. After the city developed and built the street, it was known as Yulin Road.
