Wang Bin was born in Shandong 70 years later. He went to Shenzhen in his early years and was later called to Hangzhou by his friends. Since then, he has taken root in this city.

In Wang Bin's eyes, Hangzhou has a unique flavor: "Some cities are particularly foreign, and some cities are particularly big. I think Hangzhou is particularly' medieval', which may be related to Hangzhou being the capital of the Southern Song Dynasty. "

There are "two Wests" in Hangzhou, the first is West Lake, and the second is Xixi. Compared with the West Lake, Wang Bin thinks the beauty of Xixi is more natural and wild. More than 20,000 mu of wetlands are rare all over the world.

Around 20 10, Wang Bin officially moved to Xixi to live. In 20 18, he decided to establish a "secret kingdom" here with three other friends, Shen and Li Jilai. In June 2020, 165438+ 10, this "secret realm" was finally completed.

Four friends created a secret world together:

A 3000-square-meter China garden.

Wang Bin and his friends have different professional backgrounds-an architect, Shen a worker in a caravan camp, and Li Jilai is engaged in the advertising industry and likes collecting cultural relics.

Because everyone likes drinking tea and food, they often get together and become good friends.

There used to be two Western-style buildings here, and four people have a consensus that they want to transform them into a Chinese, modern and fashionable space.

Everyone trusted Zhang Xiaoxiao with building the house.

Zhang Xiaoxiao said: "When I see this site, I want to make a garden, but I must remove the symbol system of traditional gardens, such as shape and ornamentation, so that the architectural space can be quietly integrated with Xixi Wetland."

The tour creek covers an area of 3000 square meters and is divided into four parts. The largest main building is the dining room, and the persimmon room is an independent tea space, an outdoor banquet hall and a large lawn.

There are many local trees around the building. Zhang Xiaoxiao thinks that the beauty of Xixi lies in its "wildness" and the trees are in a natural growth state, so it should be designed according to the lines of these branches.

The entrance is paved with pebbles, and the switch of the gate is hidden by a stone wall engraved with the words "visit the stream". The name was named by Wang Xizhi, and it originated from the story that Wang Xizhi's son visited Dai on a snowy night.

Once, Wang Huizhi remembered his friend Dai Kui, so he went to visit him by boat overnight. Unexpectedly, when he arrived at Dai Kui's door, he went back without entering the door, just because "I came back on a whim, and it was already in full swing. Why should I see Dai? " .

It shows that he has enjoyed the process of finding friends, and it doesn't matter whether he has seen it or not. Zhang Xiaoxiao hopes all the guests who come to visit the stream will have a good time.

This hall used to be the connecting space between two old buildings. You can see the panoramic view of the pond behind you when you enter the door, but it is too thin and rough and lacks a sense of hierarchy.

Therefore, Zhang Xiaoxiao deliberately created a story for the entrance, instead of directly entering the room. Instead, he made a golden screen, entered from the side, and formed a circular moving line indoors to transition to the next space.

The metal spiral staircase is the most popular "punching landmark" in the space, and the top light is lit by the lamp designed by lighting artist Cai Liechao.

Zhang Xiaoxiao said: "We actually used a more western-style technology, such as the lighting roof of the Pantheon, and then let the light at the top directly shine into the relatively dark environment in the middle, so the gas field of this light is very concentrated."

Then go around the back and open the window to see Xixi Wetland. The scenery is like a long scroll.

Buildings are made of natural materials, which are organized by simple construction logic, such as cornices and various joints.

Zhang Xiaoxiao said that the charm of natural materials lies in the fact that aging and antique use will be preserved and accumulated as valuable time information and become a part of the space atmosphere, which is a unique spatial aesthetic of the orientals.

A teahouse where you can drink tea, drink and listen to music.

Filled with four friends' favorite treasures

There are three persimmon trees which are hundreds of years old by the water. Four friends agreed that they should be preserved, hence the name "persimmon room". Persimmon is homophonic with the world, which means "on earth but not on earth".

Persimmon room has an independent entrance and exit, and the design is relatively restrained. Zhang Xiaoxiao hopes that the guests who come here will have a sense of intimacy when they visit friends and acquaintances.

The walls are also painted black, and the gray walls built outside the floor-to-ceiling window create a small scene, which makes the space gather gas and people sitting in the teahouse can pay more attention to each other.

Open up a large space, one is dedicated to drinking tea, and the other can drink and listen to music. More often, there is no boundary between tea, wine and music.

Li Jilai is responsible for interior soft decoration, from tables and chairs to record players and tea sets. They are carefully selected and moved from their own homes, especially books. Mr. Wang and Li Jilai almost took half.

In the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, the small-bottomed lard cup was a favorite object of the four friends. Wang Bin said, "These five cups are Dehua porcelain, probably dating back to the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, about 400 years ago.

It should be the best white porcelain cup in China. Now there is no porcelain clay, so it is hard to see such a good object. This kind of white is also called ivory white, and foreigners also call it China white. The shape is very beautiful and the glaze color is very good, so it is one of our favorite objects. "

The pot that Long Wen gave to the persimmon room and customized for it is the most meaningful object for four people.

Wang Bin said, "We opened it on1October 8th, 165438. He finished the pot on1October 7th, 165438. When the weather is warm, he brought it from Shanghai to Hangzhou, which also means that everything goes well and we all like it. "

Because he likes listening to music, Li Jilai took a vinyl phonograph from World War II with him. Every rock tea that entertains guests is also a "minority relic" that Li Jilai personally retrieved from Wuyishan.

At first, when decorating, Zhang Xiaoxiao, as an architect, watched Li Jilai move in a lot of things, which made the space messy. At one time, he thought it would be "messed up".

But watching Li Jilai match furniture and utensils bit by bit to create a space atmosphere, and finally let the persimmon room present a comfortable feeling that can make people "stay". Zhang Xiaoxiao sighed, this is the difference between designers and living families in spatial layout thinking, which is worth learning from each other.

After the space is completed, four people often meet here, make tea in the afternoon, drink at night, and occasionally read books and listen to music. Wang said that this place is like his own living room. When he is in high spirits, he will sing a play.

Although the four people have different occupations, they have the same views on aesthetics and taste, so no matter who brings something good to play or share today, there will be no contradiction with space.

Every room in 16 restaurant is a work of art, and good friends can enjoy themselves.

There are 16 restaurants on the river, and each restaurant is independent. Their relationship with corridors is like that between restaurants and streets. Zhang Xiaoxiao deliberately painted the walls black to highlight the metal doorplates at the entrance of each restaurant.

16 rooms, each with a different name and style. Halfway through the design, these four friends felt that if every restaurant was made exactly the same, they would lose interest, so they simply claimed to have a room and invited artists and friends to participate in the layout.

Wang Bin is from Shandong. His private room is closest to the water, and his terrace faces Xixi Wetland. He named this room "Penglai", which is a place name in Shandong.

Hanging indoors are the works of young painter Shang and the word "You Xi" inscribed by Jingci Temple abbot Jie Qing. On the coffee table stood the hidden utensils, cups and candlesticks he had brought from home.

Li Jilai usually likes to collect artifacts, so his room is more abundant.

The calligraphy works of Professor Chen Dazhong from China Academy of Fine Arts and the paintings of Runsong, a young painter from Zhejiang University, are hung on the wall, and even his own collection is hung in the bathroom attached to the restaurant. Because I like drinking tea, compared with other restaurants, the tea set and layout here are more particular.

Zhang Xiaoxiao decorated the room, and friends joked that they knew it was an architect's room as soon as they entered the door. There are many architectural models in it, as well as his understanding of artifacts.

Wang Bin also invited Sanfeng, a friend who specializes in outdoor camping design, to decorate the room.

Wang Bin said, "When you enter his room, it's like entering a wilderness. There were kerosene lamps during World War II, which can continue to be used. There is a set of outdoor furniture on the balcony. It's very interesting to sit there and light kerosene lamps and play the guitar. "

In the room decorated by the famous designer and stone connoisseur Pang, there are many old stones and calligraphy and paintings he brought from Suzhou. Generally speaking, flowers are placed in the middle of a big round dining table, but Pang Xi puts stones directly on the table, which has become a unique device.

Wang Bin said, "I was there the day Pang Xi came to decorate. He had a whim and put a stone here, and this room suddenly became very special. "

Liu Guang, a friend of the designer, shows his antique collection in a box, which is full of quiet aesthetics.

The common point of 16 rooms is that they all have a teahouse, which is not available in ordinary China restaurants.

Zhang Xiaoxiao said, "When we opened this restaurant, we were also examining the entertainment style of China people. Now when we go to a banquet, we often have to go through the first, second or even third scene, which is actually unnatural. The ancients would never do that. We should strive to make the banquet space interesting and rich so that everyone can get together here. "

Visitors can have tea and dinner without changing places. People who come early can make tea first, or look at the scenery on the terrace. After dinner, they don't have to sit at the table. They can continue chatting on the coffee table.

Wang Han also loves the gathering place of writers.

The visit to the brook was opened on June 5438+065438+ 10, 2020. Time is not long, and there is not much publicity. Many designers, artists and gourmets have visited it, including Wang Han, the host of Hunan Satellite TV, Long Wen, a purple sand artist, and Zheng Li, a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts.

65438+10.5 is Wang Han's second visit to Xixi. When he first came here, it was still a construction site, and the building was not fully completed. He is Li Jilai's good friend for many years, because they are both from Changsha and speak Hunan dialect as soon as they meet.

Wang Han has been collecting calligraphy and painting for twenty years and purple sand for nearly ten years. He is also interested in tea props and ancient art, and he can write by himself. He also wrote a small piece in the persimmon room.

In the persimmon room, four people drink tea, talk about utensils and talk about life with Wang Han, Long Wen and Zheng Li. On the same day, Zheng Li also wrote a menu, wrote down what everyone wanted to eat and stamped it to make an appointment to eat the dishes on the menu next time.

Although Wang Bin and his friends have never opened a restaurant, they all love food. "We think the taste of food is 30% in the hands of the chef and 70% depends on the origin of the ingredients."

The common requirement of the four people is that out-of-season things can't be served, and they should go to the producing areas to buy ingredients, such as mutton in Inner Mongolia, peppers in Hunan, vermicelli in Yimeng Mountain, Chinese cabbage in Jiaozhou, Shandong, and yellow croaker in Wenzhou.

After the dishes were almost ready, Wang Bin and Li Ji once came to yongfu temple to visit Master Yue Zhen. The master casually said, "You should ask Professor Zheng Li to write recipes." .

Wang Bin thinks that Zhang Daqian, a great calligrapher, is also a person who loves food very much. He lived in Taipei in his later years and formed a "three-party" with Zhang Xueliang and Zhang Qun. At every party, Zhang Daqian will write down the dishes of the day with a brush. Strangely, cookbooks are always stolen, and now they are hot items in auction houses.

While Li Zheng came to dinner, Wang Bin specially invited him, and Zheng Li agreed.

While writing all night, Zheng Li wrote several articles for practice. If he made mistakes, he would revise them. Unexpectedly, after finishing the recipe, he found the revised version more interesting.

"Whether it's dishes, utensils or collections, we don't make some adjustments regularly, so many people often come over and say, how did it become like this again? I think this is very interesting. "

In Wang Bin's view, there is no need to compete with others: "Everything will become interesting only if you are passionate about life, life and food. There are almost no restrictions here, everyone is just having fun! "
