If someone asks me, "Where is your hometown?" I will proudly tell him: "Beautiful Xinjiang is my home!" -inscription
"Our Xinjiang is a good place. There are good pastures in the north and south of Tianshan Mountain ... melons and fruits are fragrant, cattle and sheep are strong ... In the past, barren beaches turned into fertile fields ..." This song is familiar to many people. Whenever this music praising my hometown rings in my ears, I will be full of passion and proud to be a Xinjiang native.
Xinjiang, with an area of 1.66 million square meters and a population of 1.66 million, is the largest administrative region in China. The east and south are connected with Gansu, Qinghai and Tibet in turn, the northeast is adjacent to the People's Republic of Mongolia, the west is adjacent to Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, and the southwest is adjacent to Afghanistan, Pakistan and India. Xinjiang has a temperate continental climate with four distinct seasons, hot and dry in summer, dry and cold in winter and many sandstorms. Xinjiang is rich in not only animal and plant resources, but also mineral resources. 13 species have been found, accounting for 80% of the national total, ranking second in the country. Among the minerals with proven reserves, minerals such as muscovite, sodium nitrate, clay and vermiculite rank first in China. In addition, there are abundant iron ore, manganese, chromium, tantalum, cesium, magnesite, marl, brick clay and cast diabase 18 species, ranking first in northwest China.
Xinjiang has a vast territory, a large grassland area and many grassland types. The green leaves, white sheep, red horses, yurts and blue sky and white clouds on the grassland in northern Xinjiang are in harmony. Walking on the "green carpet", you can breathe the fresh air, feel the strong amorous feelings, and let people feel the feeling of getting rid of dust and getting refined and returning to nature.
Tianshan scenery is intoxicating, and the products are rich and amazing! Beautiful scenery and rich grass, many legends of forests and lakes! Tianshan Mountains run through the central part of Xinjiang and divide Xinjiang into southern Xinjiang and northern Xinjiang. There are many deserts in southern Xinjiang, and water resources are insufficient, but they are rich in minerals. Altay's gold and hetian jade are very famous at home and abroad. Northern Xinjiang is rich in Tianshan snow and water, and the land is fertile. Yili is one of the famous valleys and a land of plenty. The wine in Yili is everywhere, the melons and fruits in Yili are full of sweetness, and the carp in Yili River tastes fresh!
Xinjiang has abundant sunshine, large temperature difference between day and night, many kinds of fruits and good taste. Pomegranate in Yecheng, apricot in Kuqa, grape in Turpan, melon in Hami and fragrant pear in Korla are all full of praise. Watermelon in Dabancheng is big and sweet, and the girls there are as beautiful as flowers!
Xinjiang is a good place with many cultural relics, unique natural landscape and rich ethnic customs, and has become a charming tourist attraction in western China. The clear water of Tianchi Lake in Tianshan Mountain reflects the snowy peaks and green trees, with beautiful scenery and romantic flowers. Baizixi Thousand Buddha Cave is the earliest grotto land temple excavated. There are also typical Islamic tombs, such as ChristianRandPhillips's Tomb, Loulan Ancient Monument, the legendary Flame Mountain, Turpan Grape Valley, the mysterious Kanas Lake, Sailimu Lake connected with Tianshui, Muztag, known as the "father of glaciers", Populus euphratica in Tarim, Taklimakan Desert and so on.
Xinjiang, in the eyes of many people, is always equated with barbarism, backwardness, mystery and desolation. When I was in Jiangnan, many people heard that I was from Xinjiang and asked me curiously, "Are you really from Xinjiang? I heard that people there are fierce. Do you take a dagger when you go out? " "Do you live in a tent? Gobi desert is everywhere, right? Do you drink in a big bowl and eat large pieces of meat with your hands? " After hearing these questions, I always tell them with a smile: "Xinjiang people are not as terrible as you say." Although the customs are slightly different, the people there are very hospitable. Simple folk customs make them like to greet guests from afar with big bowls of wine and large pieces of mutton! People don't attack me, I don't attack, and I won't get rough easily. Nowadays, in addition to Tianshan nomads, Xinjiang people also live in high-rise buildings, and tents have become a tool for people to try. Now Xinjiang is an oasis, and the Gobi in the past has become a green field today! There are beautiful scenery everywhere, tourism is developing rapidly, and tourists who go there for sightseeing are woven. "
