Holingol City is located in the northwest of Tongliao City, at the end of National Highway 304. The total area is 585 square kilometers. It is 38 kilometers long from east to west and 28 kilometers wide from north to south. Originated in the foothills of Hanshan Mountain in Zhalute Banner, Tongliao City, it passed through Holingol City and Horqin Right Wing Zhongqi, Xing 'an League, reached Tongyu County and Da 'an County, Jilin Province, and gradually spread and disappeared (it flowed into the lower reaches of Nenjiang River through Chagan Lake in flood years). The total length of the main stream is 590 kilometers, and the drainage area is 27,800 square kilometers, including 1.00 square kilometers in Inner Mongolia.
