After 611 years of migration and reproduction, descendants of Hu Aixiang have spread all over China in 18 provinces and 511 cities and counties, and some as far away as some countries and regions in Southeast Asia. The ancestral temple is the core of the whole scenic spot, imitating the architecture of Ming Dynasty. The ancestral hall faces south, with a bronze censer in front. There are 1231 memorial tablets of immigrant ancestors in the museum, which not only embodies the traditional culture, but also highlights the theme of "ancestor worship". This is an ancestral hall with hundreds of surnames.

The leaves of the pagoda tree in Han Dynasty were picked by immigrants to commemorate it, and it was destroyed in natural disasters over the years. Now there is only one third-generation ancient pagoda tree left in the scenic spot, with a thick trunk and many leaves. On the edge of the ancient pagoda tree, there is a newly built pavilion, which is small and exquisite. A stone tablet is erected in the pavilion, with the words "at the ancient pagoda tree" engraved on the front and a brief account of ancient immigration events engraved on the back. Every year in Tomb-Sweeping Day, the scenic spot will also hold the Hongtong pagoda tree cultural festival, and tens of thousands of descendants of immigrants from home and abroad gather under the pagoda tree to worship their ancestors. During the cultural festival, tourists also have the opportunity to enjoy local opera performances, and sometimes a local snack food festival will be held outside the scenic spots, where tourists can taste authentic snacks in Hongdong County.
