When I came to this unfamiliar city for my studies in 2011, my high school teacher once said that you should either choose a good school or choose a good city to study!

This is how I came to Wuxi.

It is really beautiful. As far as the natural scenery in the entire Jiangsu Province is concerned, Wuxi can be said to be the first, but I am afraid no one can be said to be second.

The greening of the city is like living in a green forest, breathing fresh air all the time.

In a civilized city, good natural scenery may not necessarily leave a good impression on people, because this is also related to the civilization of the city. The stalls and hawkers here are all well-organized. Chong'an Temple has unified stalls and fixed stalls.

Nanzen Temple and others are lined up in a row. Apart from these two places, it is difficult to see them in other places, especially in scenic spots. There are only tourists at the entrance of the scenic spots, scalpers and hawkers...!

I just want to remind you, please bring your own dry food before going to the scenic spot. There are really no vendors selling it there!

It’s a city with convenient transportation. When I first arrived in the city center, there were fencing and construction everywhere!

It’s really hard to associate it with convenient transportation, and I’m afraid it can’t be associated with prosperity, but this city gives you unexpected convenience!

There are many subways built across the country, but not many are building two lines at the same time!

Two subways cross each other and run directly to the southeast and northwest. High-speed rail stations, train stations, bus stations, and bus stations are all connected together, all located in the city center. Small bus stations are distributed on the edges of the city, no matter where they are, no matter where they go.

This is convenient transportation!

Wuxi is a fast-paced city. The pace of life in Wuxi is very fast. The roads are full of hurried passers-by. Whether they are in a hurry or not, they walk so fast, fast, fast, fast, so fast!

Can't you go slower?

It’s really not possible. You may not be used to it when you first come here, but you will soon like this fast-paced life, and you will also prefer your fast-paced self. A city that can accommodate you, Apple’s first direct-operated store in Jiangsu has not been chosen.

Nanjing, the administrative center, was not chosen in Suzhou, which has the largest economic aggregate, but in Wuxi!

As long as you work hard, the salary is comparable to Suzhou, but the housing prices are much lower than Suzhou!

There are developed Internet of Things industries here as well as low-end manufacturing industries. If you work hard, you will definitely gain something!

Wuxi is really a city that you won’t want to leave once you arrive. Its charm is everywhere and I can’t say enough about it!

Wuxi's private economy is strong.

When everyone mentions Suzhou, the first thing that comes to mind is strong foreign investment, and Wuxi has both.

Foreign investment is concentrated in the new area.

Private enterprises are more developed.

As of March 1, 2013, there were 40 listed companies in the city.

Prefecture-level cities are definitely at the forefront, there is no doubt about this.

The second is the construction of public facilities: such as public transportation and subway construction; such as public cultural construction and free and open museums and libraries; such as the construction of public entertainment facilities. Third, the purchasing power determined by economic strength has become an important reason why various high-end hotels, restaurants and real estate properties are interested in the Wuxi market. From a very simple perspective, although the number of international first- and second-tier brands is not as high as that of Beijing and Shanghai, among all prefecture-level cities in China, they are still among the top five.

The fourth is opportunity and cost. Compared with other cities in the Yangtze River Delta, the cost of living in Wuxi may not be the lowest, but it is the most cost-effective. If you spend the same money to live in Nanjing, Suzhou or Hangzhou, I dare say the quality of life will be better.

It's definitely not as good as in Wuxi.

As for opportunities, there are more than 130 Fortune 500 companies in Wuxi. Wuxi also has many preferential policies for entrepreneurship, which are now strongly supported by various places, especially for women and fresh graduates. There are also detailed policies such as housing subsidies.

Of course, the number of opportunities is not comparable to that in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen, but the competition is not as fierce as that in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen.

Heroes who want to make a lot of money may have fewer opportunities in Wuxi, to be honest.

Fifth, it may be that the people in Wuxi are the ones who care. I may not be able to say this. I have my own standards for good and bad.

But what I can say is that Wuxi people are at least not stingy, at least not xenophobic, but Wuxi people also love their hometown and their hometown people, so students who may want to find Wuxi girls must have the intention to take root in Wuxi and work hard.
