Which foods are most memorable to you?

Speaking of the ones that impressed me the most, they were Huizhou stinky mandarin fish, Chongqing hot pot, Sichuan Mapo tofu, Huangshan hairy tofu and Hangzhou cypress buns with green onions.

Huizhou stinky mandarin fish focuses on the word stinky. It is smellier than stinky tofu but tastes more mellow.

The meat is very tender, not stale at all, and has a nice smooth texture.

However, if you make it at home, you may need to pay attention to ventilation and exhaust, otherwise the smell will be too strong.

Chongqing hot pot is my favorite because I like spicy food.

The spicy taste of Chongqing hot pot coupled with the scalding hot feeling makes people unable to stop. Even if they are sweating profusely, they just wipe it off and continue eating.

Moreover, the texture is the most suitable for eating after rinsing it. You can eat the most suitable texture of the ingredients, such as rinsing tripe and beef and mutton.

It is also paired with the most authentic dipping sauce in Chongqing, sesame oil and minced garlic to remove the spiciness and add fragrance. It can be said that I was very surprised by this combination for the first time, but I also liked it after trying it myself.

It can be said that it is very enjoyable to eat.

Mapo tofu can be said to be my favorite ingredient, rivaling Chongqing hot pot.

I never thought that simple tofu could be so delicious. Every time I eat it, I will eat it with the soup. It is really a very enjoyable taste. People who like spicy food must not miss it.

Huangshan hairy tofu is a delicacy I ate during my internship. It is covered with a layer of thick white hair. It is fried and then topped with onions, ginger, sugar, salt, meat broth, soy sauce, etc., then fried and dipping in sauce.

.

Unlike stinky tofu, it is crispier on the outside and softer on the inside. It can be said to be a double enjoyment of taste and texture.

At that time, I had to eat one portion every day.

Scallion-wrapped cypress is a Hangzhou-style snack in Zhejiang Province. What impressed me deeply is that it wraps the stuff and presses it with an iron, and then you can eat it after it becomes crispy. It is more delicious.

Food not only satisfies the stomach, but also provides visual, olfactory and other enjoyment.

Let me share some of the amazing food I have eaten below!

Moisten cake.

Run cakes are what I ate in Quanzhou. They are actually very similar to what we call spring cakes, except that they are not fried.

Wrap shredded radish, shredded pork, shrimp, bean sprouts, etc. in a moist pancake skin, and then roll them up.

The crust of the pancake is thin and translucent, and the side dishes wrapped inside taste light and sweet without losing the fragrance of the ingredients themselves.

If you don’t like the greasiness of deep-fried spring pancakes, you might as well eat moist pancakes.

In fact, I am a big fan of spicy food. I usually like spicy food. When I first ate these southern Fujian snacks, I thought they were too bland and tasteless.

The more you eat, the more you get used to it, and you fall in love with these delicacies that reflect the flavor of the ingredients rather than relying on spiciness for seasoning.

Full pancake.

Manjian cake is also a kind of southern Fujian snack. It is soft and delicious when it is freshly baked. It is full of brown sugar and crushed peanuts and tastes sweet but not greasy. It is suitable for eating in the morning in autumn and winter.

The first time I ate Manjian Cake, I packed it and ate it on the train. Although it was a bit cold, it still tasted springy and soft. Coupled with the aroma of peanuts, sesame and brown sugar, it made people have endless aftertaste.

There is also the sauerkraut pie eaten in the Northeast.

Although I had eaten sauerkraut before, it was always as a side dish with rice. It was only after I came to the Northeast that I learned that sauerkraut can also be used to make dumplings, pies and even hot pot.

The first time I ate sauerkraut-filled scones was in a Northeastern restaurant. A local friend strongly recommended this to us.

When it was served, it was no different from an ordinary pie. After taking a bite, I was really surprised. The crispy grilled crust and the refreshing taste of sauerkraut were not too greasy and not as sour as eating sauerkraut alone.

Later, I fell in love with all kinds of delicacies stuffed with sauerkraut, and even ordered sauerkraut when eating hot pot.

If you explore carefully, there are actually a lot of delicious food around you. I believe that people who love food are also passionate about life.

Not only for foodies, but for everyone, food is an indispensable thing in life.

There is a documentary called A Bite of China, and not everyone may have tried the food in it, but the food we have tried in our lives has left a very deep impression on us.

crayfish.

Maybe it’s because I’ve watched too many crayfish commercials on TV. I’ve always been very interested in crayfish, and it can be said that I’ve always wanted to eat them.

So one summer, I pestered my family and finally went to have a meal of crayfish.

Looking at the fiery red lobsters, so many of them lying on the plate, I felt quite happy.

At first, it was my first time to eat shrimp, and I didn’t know how to prepare it. But practice makes perfect and I ate it very quickly. I finished almost the whole plate by myself.

I personally prefer that taste, but it seems to have some Sichuan peppercorns in it, which I can't accept.
