1. Qiandongnan: Miao and Dong
Qiandongnan is located in the southeast of Guizhou Province, on the southeast edge of Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, with a strong ethnic customs. There are the largest Miao village and Dong village in the world, with unique diaojiao building, wind and rain bridge and Drum Tower. There are dazzling Dong songs, embroidery, silver ornaments and batiks.
2. Yanbian, Jilin: Korean
Yanbian is located on the border between China and North Korea in the east of Jilin Province, with Yanji as its capital, which is the largest gathering place of Korean people in China. Yanbian's rich Korean ethnic customs are a major feature, and Korean food, art and costumes are also something that tourists must try when they come to Yanbian.
3. Yunnan Red River: Hani
Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture is located in the south of Yunnan Province, with beautiful southern subtropical scenery, colorful folk literature and art, ethnic customs, unique scenic spots and historical sites, unique traditional crafts, Ailao Mountain and Red River in the southwest, Nanpanjiang River flowing through its northeast, and charming natural scenery.
4. Xishuangbanna, Yunnan: Dai people
As can be seen from the map, two famous mountains on the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau in the east and west surround Xishuangbanna, and there are pieces of flat land between the mountains, so there are phoenix bamboos and Dai stockyards surrounded by big banyan trees.
5. Liangshan, Sichuan, Chuxiong, Yunnan: Yi people
Liangshan is the largest inhabited area of the Yi people in China, with rich ethnic and regional characteristics and simple and colorful folk customs, such as the unique folk customs of the Yi people and the custom of' leaving marriage' of Mosuo people along Lugu Lake; Chuxiong, Yunnan Province is also a famous Yi settlement in China. The beautiful scenery and rich Yi customs are integrated, making Chuxiong a unique tourist attraction.
6. Hohhot: Mongolian
Hohhot is the capital of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and Hohhot itself is a transliteration of Mongolian, meaning "blue city". Hohhot is one of the birthplaces of Chinese civilization, the birthplace of Hufu riding and shooting, the destination of Zhaojun's departure from the fortress, the Longxing place of Xianbei Tuoba, and the place where merchants from Mongolia visit each other.
7. Xinjiang: Uighurs
Uighurs are a singing and dancing people living at the foot of Tianshan Mountain in Xinjiang, accounting for about 46% of the total population in Xinjiang. Uighurs mainly live in Kashgar, Hotan, Aksu and Korla in the south of Tianshan Mountain in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, and the rest are scattered in Urumqi and Yili in the north of Tianshan Mountain.
8. Ningxia: Hui people
Hui people are the most widely distributed ethnic minority in China, mainly living in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. Hui people have mosques in places where they live in concentrated communities, and their followers are called "Muslims". Ningxia, as the region where the Yellow River flows, also has an ancient civilization of the Yellow River.
9. Tibet: Tibetans
Tibetans are deeply influenced by Tibetan Buddhism, and all aspects of their lives show traces of Buddhist influence. When traveling to Tibet, we must respect the local customs and habits.
1. Enshi, Hubei and Xiangxi, Hunan: Tujia
Enshi, located in the southwest of Hubei Province, is the only minority autonomous prefecture in Hubei Province, with 29 ethnic groups including Tujia, Miao and Zhuang. Tujia people "must choose Gaoling where they live", and often dozens or hundreds of families with the same surname gather to form a village. Tujia people live mostly in the mountains, while Hakkas live mostly outside the mountains.
