Ziyang Tourism in Sichuan: the hometown of stone carving art with a long history

Anyue County, which belongs to ziyang, is the "hometown of Chinese folk art (stone carving art)". Anyue stone carving began in the second year of Liang Dynasty in the Southern Dynasty (521) and flourished in the Tang Dynasty, the Five Dynasties and the Northern Song Dynasty. The theme was a fusion of Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism and classics, with the theme of "ancient, diverse and refined"

There are 143 cliff statues and more than 1, statues in Anyue Stone Carving Scenic Area, and there are more than 4, words of Buddhist scriptures in the Grottoes of the Tang Dynasty. In addition, there are a large number of paleontological fossils, among which Mamenxi dinosaur fossils are 15 million years old, 21.5 meters long and 8 meters high, ranking second in Asia.

Pilu Cave is located in Tazi Mountain, Shiyang Town, Anyue County. There are 2 niches, 32 inscriptions and 446 large and small stone sculptures. The purple bamboo Guanyin statue in guanyin temple is 3m high, full in composition, unique in shape and fine in carving, which is the best stone sculpture in Anyue. The "walking map" of the fifth generation of Liu Benzun's esoteric Sect was carved in a cave with a height of 6.6 meters, a width of 14 meters and a depth of 4.5 meters, which is a very rare historical material for studying the lives of Sichuan esoteric Sect and Liu Benzun.

The Wofo Temple is located in Wofo Valley, Bamiao Township, Anyue County, with a sculpture area of 865 meters, including 142 niches, 1,613 stone sculptures and 15 stone Buddhist scriptures with more than 4, words. There is the earliest and most complete existing full-body reclining Buddha statue in China, and it is also the largest full-body stone reclining Buddha statue in Tang Dynasty in China, with a length of 23 meters. The Preface to All Classics, written by Jing Tai, a famous monk in Tang Dynasty, carved in Cave No.46, is the only copy left in China's stone-carved Buddhist scriptures, "This is the only moment in the world".

Huayan Cave is located on the box cover hill of Shiyang Town, Anyue County, including Huayan Cave and Daprajna Cave. There are 159 statues in the Song Dynasty and 24 inscriptions in the past dynasties. The statue of "Three Sages of Huayan" in the middle of Huayan Cave is 5.2 meters high, and there are 4.1-meter-high sitting statues of "Ten Bodhisattvas" on the left and right sides. The cave wall is engraved with the story of "Jingbian". The main wall of the Great Prajna Cave is carved with one Buddha and two Bodhisattvas. In the middle of the back wall of the Buddha statue, there are two niches, the relief statues of Li Yong and Kong Qiu, which are typical statues of three religions in one cave.

Mingshan Temple is located at the top of Hutou Mountain in Minle Village, Dingxiang Town, Anyue County. At present, there are 63 cliff statues in Tang and Song Dynasties in the temple, including 34 single statues and more than 5 statues ranging from 1 to 4 meters, which are extremely valuable cliff stone carvings.

Xuanmiao Temple is located at the foot of Baiyang Mountain, Yuanda Town, Anyue County. It has 79 large and small niches and 1,293 stone sculptures, all of which were exquisitely carved in the Tang Dynasty. It is a Taoist statue resort in China.

Mumen Temple is located at the foot of Qingquan Mountain in Mumen Village, Shigu Township, Anyue County. There are seven major temples in the original temple, facing south, which is huge and prosperous. There are boundless Zen Pavilion, Ursa Hall and Ancestral Hall.

Tourism in Ziyang, Sichuan: Fishing in Longquan Lake

Longquan Lake is centered on the main dam of Shipan Reservoir and Island No.5, including more than ten scenic spots such as Shipanpu, Shijing Temple and the satellite recovery landing site, with a total area of 51 square kilometers, a water surface of 55 square kilometers, a lakeshore line of 54 kilometers and 26 isolated islands and peninsulas. Longquan Lake is shaped like a tadpole, with vast smoke waves, strange peaks and rocks on both sides, high mountains and steep walls.
