Nanchang Metro Line 2 is the second subway line completed and put into operation in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, China.
The first section (South Road Station to Metro Building Station) was opened to traffic on August 18, 2017, and the back section (Metro Building Station to Xinjia'an Station) was opened to traffic on June 30, 2019. The line marking color is yellow.
As of June 2019, Nanchang Metro Line 2 starts from Nanlu Station, passes through Honggutan District, the central and western part of Donghu District, the northeastern part of Xihu District and the central and western part of Qingshan Lake District, and ends at Xinjia'an Station.
Bounded by the Ganjiang River, the line runs generally north-south on the west bank and east-west on the east bank.
As of June 2019, Nanchang Metro Line 2 has a total length of 31.51 kilometers and a total of 28 stations (including transfer stations), all of which are underground stations. The operating vehicles are 6-car B-type subway trains.

Starting from September 1, 2019, Nanchang Metro Lines 1 and 2 will officially launch a new version of the train operation chart, and the operating hours will be extended by 30 minutes and adjusted to 6:00-22:30.
