Today I will share in detail how to make soft, glutinous and sweet red bean cake using glutinous rice flour.
Ingredients: red beans, rock sugar, glutinous rice flour Method: First clean the red beans, then soak them in cold water for four hours.
Pour the soaked red beans into the pot together with the water so that the nutrients are not lost. Bring to a boil over high heat, then turn to medium heat and cook.
When it is almost cooked, add rock sugar according to personal taste.
Take it out and put it in a bowl before cooking. Reserve the soup for later use. Add an appropriate amount of glutinous rice flour (1:2) and stir evenly with chopsticks. Then add an appropriate amount of red bean soup and stir into a thick batter.
Brush a layer of oil around the mold, or place a piece of oil paper or plastic wrap on it.
Pour the batter in, cover it with plastic wrap and press it flat so that your hands don't get dirty. Boil the water in the pot, put the batter on top and steam over high heat for half an hour.
After steaming, take it out and let it cool. Use a knife to score a circle around it for easy release.
Then cut it into small pieces with a knife for easy consumption.
