Hangzhou already has many famous delicacies, such as West Lake Vinegar Fish, Longjing Shrimp, Beggar's Chicken, Salt Crispy Fresh, etc. However, in the current food market, there are still many local delicacies in Hangzhou that have not been widely inherited and multiplied.
Considering that people’s dietary needs and preferences have changed a lot now, I think Hangzhou can introduce the following innovative Hangzhou delicacies: Longjing bread: Longjing tea is combined with cream and powdered sugar to make bread fillings, and then Longjing tea is used to make bread fillings.
Longjing bread is made with tea steaming method and has a crispy texture.
Rich Conch: Made by combining conch with abalone, cold-smoked sturgeon and other high-end seafood, it is famous for its "richness".
Spring Fried Duck: Based on the crispy texture of fried duck, and adding winter jasmine flowers to make the jasmine fried duck with a unique aroma, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
Hangzhou Youdunzi: On the basis of traditional Youdunzi, Hangzhou's local special ingredients are added, such as sausage, chayote, fried rice with dried shrimps, etc., to present a mouth-watering delicacy.
Hangzhou Smoked Sausage: Selected local fresh pork, processed using traditional smoking techniques, with a fragrant and tender taste.
The above are just some of my suggestions for food ideas that can be launched in Hangzhou, but market demand and consumer feedback are important reference standards for launching food. I hope it will help revitalize Hangzhou’s food culture.
