The Temple of Heaven Park is surrounded by two altar walls and is divided into two parts: the "inner altar" and the "outer altar". The three colors of glazed glass, green below, symbolize heaven, earth and all things. It is the only remaining example of ancient Chinese Mingtang style architecture.
Yuanqiu: Commonly known as the Tianxin Terrace, there is a "Heavenly Heart Stone" in the center. The table stones and stone railings of each layer are all in "nine" and multiples of "nine" to correspond to the "nine heavens" and emphasize the status of "heaven".
Imperial Vault: A palace used to enshrine the sacred tablets for the Heaven Sacrifice Ceremony. It has a wooden arch structure and is covered with blue tiles and a golden roof.
The ceiling caisson in the hall is a golden dragon caisson with a green tone, with a large golden dragon pattern in the center.
The courtyard wall is the famous echo wall. You can try to shout it and it will be magical! Zhai Palace: It is the palace where the emperor fasted for three days before offering sacrifices. Danbi Bridge: It is a 4-meter-high road connecting the Circular Mound Altar and the Praying Valley Altar.
