Changsha is one of the few cities in China that can balance the dreams and reality of young people.

Changsha is the city with the lowest housing prices among the new first-tier cities, and it is also the city with the strictest housing price control. The average price of new houses in Changsha in 2021 is only 10,119 yuan/㎡, which is even lower than many provincial capital cities in the central and western regions. Is there any pressure?

The scale of Changsha's construction machinery industry ranks first in the world, and Changsha accounts for four of the top 50 construction machinery companies in the world. Power batteries account for about 40% of the cost of new energy vehicles. The scale of advanced energy storage materials based on power batteries ranks first in Changsha in the country, and it has cultivated and brought together many leading companies in the industry.

In 2022, the number of A-share listed companies in Changsha City has reached 80, ranking first among central cities for five consecutive years.

In terms of education, Changsha's four famous principals, Jun, Yali, High School Affiliated to Normal University and Changsha No. 1 Middle School, are all ranked in the top 50 in the country among high schools, and two high schools are even in the top 10 in the country.

In terms of higher education, there are also three 985 universities including the National University of Defense Technology, Central South University and Hunan University, as well as Hunan Normal University, which is a 211 university.

In the medical field, Xiangya Medical College of Central South University is known as Northern Union Medical College and Southern Xiangya. Although Xiangya Medical College is no longer as famous as it once was, Changsha City also occupies four of the top 100 hospitals in the country, namely Xiangya Medical College.

In the transportation field, the Beijing-Guangzhou High-speed Railway and the Shanghai-Kunming High-speed Railway intersect in Changsha City. In 2021, Changsha Huanghua International Airport ranked first in central China in terms of passenger throughput.

In the field of food, Hunan cuisine is one of the eight major cuisines in the country. Internet celebrity delicacies such as tea and delicious shrimps have attracted the attention of countless people.

Changsha is a pioneer in culture and entertainment, with Hunan Satellite TV, which has always dominated the ratings of local TV stations, and Jiefang West Street, known as the city that never sleeps.
