Xiao Hei’s story

My son is two and a half years old. I was playing outdoor activities with my son last Saturday when he saw a little ant crawling around on the ground. Perhaps out of curiosity, perhaps out of fear, the son stepped on the ant for no reason. The little ant, which was full of energy just now, is now lying on the ground struggling in pain. When I saw this scene, my brain was congested and I had the urge to go crazy. However, there should be better options than getting angry and scolding. I decided to try some other options.

I pointed to the ants on the ground and said to my son: "Son, you accidentally stepped on an ant. He is in so much pain that he can't stand up now. Do you remember the last time you went up the stairs and you accidentally fell down?" His leg was broken, does it hurt?"

When he mentioned his pain, his son also understood the consequences of his actions. He asked curiously, "Does it hurt?" "

I nodded in agreement and continued: "His name is Xiao Hei. He has two sisters and a brother. He came out today to find food for his little brother and sister if he can't find it in time. If the food goes back, his brother and sister will be hungry."

"What should we do?" The son was worried.

"Look, Xiao Hei stood up!" I pointed to the ants on the ground and said to my son. As if he understood our conversation, the little ant stood up from the ground tenaciously and continued to start the "runaway" mode.

"Dad, can I share it with Xiao Hei?" My son pointed at the small schoolbag in my hand and said. The little schoolbag contains his favorite Wangzi steamed buns.

"Of course" I said, I opened the zipper and took out a small steamed bun and handed it to his white and tender hands.

He seemed very happy, picked up the steamed bun and threw it on the ground. Soon Xiao Hei discovered this little steamed bun falling from the sky. He ran over quickly and tried to move the bun away by himself. But this steamed bun is really too big for it. Xiao Hei's attempt failed.

My son, who was standing aside and observing, asked anxiously, "Dad, Xiao Hei can't move it."

"Let's help him." I knelt down and picked it up. He picked up the steamed bun on the ground, broke off a small piece and threw it on the ground. Xiao Hei easily pushed the piece of steamed bun and left.

After my son saw it, he jumped up and down and was so excited that he kept saying, "I'll have one, I'll have one."

I handed the steamed bun to my son and began to observe him.

Soon the son found an ant looking for food. He carefully broke off a piece of steamed bun and threw it in front of the ant. The ant naturally found and moved away the "delicious food".

Seeing the effect, my son was very encouraged and quickly distributed the steamed buns in his hands.

I thought the story would end here, but my son still gave me a surprise when I went to bed at night.

Before going to bed, "Dad, can I invite Xiao Hei to come to our house to play with me?" My son looked at me expectantly and asked.

"Of course, what are you going to play?" I replied.

"Xiao Hei is my good friend. He can sleep next to me and cover me with my new quilt."
