Jinguancheng is another name of Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province. During the Shu and Han Dynasties in the Three Kingdoms, Chengdu's brocade handicraft industry was particularly developed. Shu brocade is a famous silk handicraft in China. They are the main commodities of Shu-Han foreign trade and become the main source of financial income of Shu-Han regime. Therefore, the Shu and Han Dynasties specially set up Jinguan officials to manage the production of Shu brocade, and specially built a city to protect the production of Shu brocade, called Jinguan City.

Chengdu, also known as Rongcheng and Jincheng for short, is a prefecture-level city, provincial capital, sub-provincial city, megacity, national central city and world food capital under the jurisdiction of Sichuan Province. Located in the southwest of China, the west of Sichuan Basin and the hinterland of Chengdu Plain, it has a subtropical monsoon humid climate. By the end of 20021,the whole city had governed 12 municipal districts, 3 counties and 5 county-level cities.

Chengdu is an important national high-tech industrial base, trade logistics center and comprehensive transportation hub, an important central city in the western region and an important electronic information industrial base, which was approved by the State Council. Chengdu has been known as "the land of abundance" since ancient times. It is one of the first national historical and cultural cities, the birthplace of ancient Shu civilization and the best tourist city in China. Jinsha Site in China has a history of 3000 years. Zhou was named after "one episode a year, one city every two years, and one Chengdu every three years". Shu Han, Cheng Han, Qian Shu, Hou Shu and other regimes successively established their capitals here. Han is one of the five major cities in China. Tang is one of the most developed industrial and commercial cities in China, and it is called "Two Cities of Yangyi" in history. The first paper money in the world was born in the Northern Song Dynasty.

Topography of Chengdu:

Chengdu is located in the western edge of Sichuan Basin, and its terrain inclines from northwest to southeast. The western part belongs to the marginal area of Sichuan basin, mainly in deep mountains and hills, with an altitude of1000 ~ 3000m. The highest point is located in the University Hall of Xiling Town, Dayi County, with an altitude of 5364 meters. The eastern part belongs to the basin-bottom plain of Sichuan Basin, which is formed by alluvial rivers such as Minjiang River and Yujiang River. It is the center of Chengdu Plain, mainly composed of plains, terraces and some low hills, with an altitude of 750 meters.
