China Geo University (Wuhan) is located in the hinterland of Wuhan East Lake National Independent Innovation Demonstration Zone, on the shore of Wuchang East Lake and at the foot of Wang Nan Mountain on Lumo Road. China Geo University was founded in 1952, and its predecessor was Beijing Geo University formed by the merger of Peking University, Tsinghua University, Tianjin University and Tangshan Railway Institute.
