My friend was admitted to Donghua University of Science and Technology in 2020. My friend is majoring in resource exploration engineering, and it is a specialty major of their school.

I often go to visit my friends during holidays, and gradually I get to know their school. I would like to share with you my friend’s campus life.

Donghua University of Science and Technology is divided into three campuses, Guanglan Campus, Fenglin Campus, and Yangtze University. The unique advantage of the school is the nuclear industry. The school was formerly known as East China Institute of Geology.

There is a bus stop in front of the school, which provides direct access to the city center and the train station. There is a snack street around the school with a rich variety of food. There are also many scenic spots in the surrounding areas that you can explore if you are willing to explore them. For example, Meiling, Tengwang Pavilion, Aixi Lake Wetland, Xiangshan Lake Park, and Academy of Forestry are quite convenient to travel to. It is quite close to a shopping plaza in Honggutan and can be reached by car in more than 10 minutes. The bus ride takes about 20 minutes.

My friend’s dormitory in Fenglin Campus has its own bathroom, and the men’s dormitory has washing machines, water boilers and a water cooler on even floors. They all sleep four people on a bed and a table, and have air conditioning. The study room on the first floor of the library is air-conditioned, and some air-conditioned study rooms are also open in the Economics and Management Building.

The school library is very well done. It is very large and has all kinds of books. There are many places to study and it is very quiet. Friends who like to study are highly recommended to study here.

The school has the West District Canteen, the South District Canteen and the North District Canteen. These three canteens: the west district canteen is next to the three teachers and the girls' dormitory, the north district canteen is next to the library, and the south district canteen is the boys' dormitory (if you want to meet little brothers and sisters, be careful and go to different canteens, haha)

The West District Canteen is very delicious. There is a Western restaurant upstairs in the West District Canteen. The breakfast of Noodles is really delicious. Generally speaking, the West District Canteen has more types of food and the prices are not very expensive. Then The South District Canteen and the North District Canteen are relatively ordinary. The food there is just a set meal, and the taste is just like that. However, the stir-fried noodles in the South District Canteen are quite good, and the North District's hand-grilled noodles are quite good. The cake is really delicious.
