Thoughts on the movie Love in Love
On Saturday night, I finally saw the long-awaited Love in Love in Love. I have long forgotten when I started to pay attention to this movie, and I feel that I have been waiting for a long time. It may be the introduction of a Chaoshan Weibo a long time ago. Listening to his theme song, all the familiar places attracted me to understand deeply.
I'm glad that our school is one of them, thanks to the fellow villagers. I have publicized it many times before I came to our school, and I am looking forward to it more and more. There is also a very funny thing about the pronunciation of the word Ying. For many non-Chaoshan people, this is unfamiliar, and for us Chaoshan people, this is familiar. Some people read ta, some people read she, some people read bao, and some people read jing. Every time I hear someone mispronounce, I want to correct them.
Love is the first Shantou local film. The scriptwriting, shooting and music production were all delivered by Chaoshan young netizens, and the self-raised funds persisted in shooting for three years.
Love is based on Jinshan Middle School, the best middle school in Shantou, and shows a Chaoshan with strong regional color from the perspective of a Suzhou girl. This film is based on Kim Jong-il, and many actors are graduates of previous Kim Jong-il, so it also attracts the attention of many Kim Jong-il people.
I was waiting for work early on Saturday afternoon. Someone asked me why you are so concerned about Tang Lian because you are not from Jinzhong. I just want to say that it is not necessary for anyone from Jinzhong to pay attention to him. People from Shantou and Chaoshan will pay attention to him, because he not only introduced Jinzhong, but also introduced us to Chaoshan. This is also our first local film in Shantou, and he introduced a lot of our Chaoshan customs.
Some people say that they can't understand the film, others say that the clues of the film are unclear. I think it may be because they don't understand the story, the regional culture and the Chaoshan dialect. But I think the plot of the film is well arranged, and a lot of flashbacks are used to shoot the film from a new perspective. Through understanding, I know that the production of these films is completely done by several people. I think this editing has been very successful.
Xin Rui, a Suzhou woman, came to the Chaoshan area where the hero lives, hoping to learn about his life through this place. The film shows the local culture of Chaoshan from her perspective. Xinrui has just arrived in Shantou, a strange environment. For anyone, I think most people can't adapt quickly, not to mention that this is an exclusive Shantou. When eating, just sitting down, the waiter asked Xinxin what to eat in Chaoshan dialect, which is even more unacceptable for a person who doesn't understand Chaoshan dialect at all. This is a kind of "bird language". What is a kway teow, and what is a beef kway teow? For non-Chaoshan people, how many people can understand. The same is true of Xinrui, and finally she can only ask for a bowl of rice. In my opinion, Xinrui has faced all kinds of challenges since she first arrived in Shantou. She needs to overcome countless difficulties, at least language difficulties, in order to blend in here. Some people say that a good beginning is half the battle, and I also think that a difficult beginning is doomed to be a hard road.
Yixin, in high school, there was a favorite girl named Meng Jie. In his eyes, Meng Jie was like Liu Yifei in The Golden Powder Family, so pure. Yixin secretly tore off Meng Jie's photos during the evening repair, so that he was chased by the director, taught a lesson by him and punished him for staying out of school. Later, I contacted Meng Jie through the help of my classmates to pass a note. At that time, Yi Xin felt that Meng Jie was the goddess in his heart. I think many people will have such a thing in adolescence. When they find a favorite girl (boy), they once thought that he (she) was the most important person. Because she said she would take the exam at CUHK, she also chose CUHK. It may be fated that when she was admitted to CUHK, Meng Jie chose outside the province instead of CUHK. Miss again and again, doomed two can not be together. After going to college, the two still keep in touch. Maybe everyone has not revealed that he (she) is his (her) in mind. However, the world is not only her and him, but also the people and things around her are always changing. When I met Xin Rui, I ushered in a different world. What will happen when a person who speaks standard Mandarin meets a person who speaks poor Mandarin? Through the understanding of the stage play, they have a love for each other. Maybe at first, they were both interested in each other, but then they came into contact and fell in love.
Love is a matter of two people, but for Chaoshan area, love is not a matter of two people. Yixin's mother asked Yixin to find a Chaoshan girl and stay in Shantou. Through dialogue, we can also know that Yixin is excellent in this family and is the backbone of the family in the future. From the conversation between Yixin and grandpa, we can also know how excellent Yixin is in the family. Grandpa always tells his grandchildren to follow Yixin's example, and grandpa tells Yixin that the hope of the family lies in him, that is, novelty is the future of the family. From childhood contact, from childhood contact with "education", we also understand that it is difficult for families to accept girls from other provinces. It is also difficult for him to leave his family. I think Yixin is also thinking about whether he is with Xinrui. He loves her, but he can't abandon everything for her.
how can people and things in Chaoshan be understood by non-Chaoshan people? When two people are together, they should be horoscope-tied, fortune-telling when they go away, and "worship the master". The "superstition" of Chaoshan people is beyond many people's understanding, but it is very common in our lives. Some "superstitions" are also a kind of belief in my opinion. Many people think superstitious things, but we are used to them. They are deeply rooted and cannot be changed. For me, I just believe it very much. I am very enthusiastic about "fortune telling" and all kinds of "superstitions" every year. When my mother told me what animal sign matches with what animal sign, I also attached great importance to it, and felt that this was the main consideration in finding the other half. Living in Chaoshan area, influenced by the older generation, everyone in Chaoshan has a little influence on "superstition".
There are many things about Chaoshan scenery, food, culture and so on in the film. Chaoshan dialect, Chaozhou opera, beef balls, goose, ferry, Qianshishan, Nansheng department store and so on. Familiar places and familiar things give us a kind feeling. Why do we want to see this film is also one of the answers. The familiar Chaoshan dialect feels so cordial. It is rare for a movie to use Chaoshan dialect as its main language. It is said that two thirds of the movies are Chaoshan dialect. Someone asked why Chaoshan dialect was used. I can't help asking, why can't we use Chaoshan dialect? Some people say that we don't understand it. Haha, I want to say that we can understand it (although it's a selfish idea), but isn't there a subtitle? (* _ *) Hee hee ... In an interview, the screenwriter also said that they were influenced by Hou Xiaoxian's movies in Taiwan Province. After watching some of Hou Xiaoxian's movies, I also think we should have Chaoshan local movies. This is also the success of love.
There are also some small fragments of family life in the film. In Yixin's conversation with her sister, we can also feel the brotherhood among them. For me who has no brother, having a brother is what I have always wanted since I was a child. I think many people do, too. After watching this movie, I think more people want to have a brother. Only children can't feel this kind of affection at all. I think many Chaoshan people feel Yixin's brotherly affection for his sister. Although Chaoshan men are sexist, I think in some cases, Chaoshan boys perform far better than boys in other regions. Although I don't have a brother, I also have many cousins, and I have seen many brothers and sisters get along. Chaoshan boys are very, very good in my mind!
there are still some clips, which impressed me deeply. That is, Yixin and his sister were looking at the store, during which someone came to buy cigarettes. I feel very familiar and kind. The reason is that my family also runs a shop, and I have helped in the shop since I was a child. Looking at those familiar pictures, I feel that this movie is the realism of our life. And when my sister asked Yexin several times, elder brother, is it called "too close relationship between men and women" to fall in love in your school? Isn't this what we used to emphasize in school? In addition to this, Chaoshan people are used to speaking Chaoshan dialect and Putonghua together. While promoting Putonghua, as Chaoshan people, many people can't give up their mother tongue Chaoshan dialect. Nowadays, the new generation is often mixed with Chaoshan dialect in Mandarin. Some of them are because Chaoshan dialect is a bit awkward to say, and some of them are really convenient and concise to say in Mandarin. Listening to the familiar dialogue, my love for this film is getting deeper and deeper.
Many people have experienced and imagined what happened when Chaoshan men met foreign women.
Be careful, Xinrui asks, can only girls with the same cultural background be integrated into your family? Yixin seems to have no clear answer in the film. But Yixin also thought about it and thought about it. Yi Xin wants to change, but he also wants to change not only himself, but also his mother, grandfather, family members and deep-rooted ideas.
Meng Jie, once pure, took a dramatic change at some point in college. Looking at Meng Jie in the photo, I can't accept it. We can't help but ask, is this really Meng Jie? I think Yixin will feel incredible when she first sees the photos. Meng Jie in high school is a very beautiful girl, a simple girl. But isn't life the same? Everyone will grow up, and everyone will change. Some people have experienced some people and things, and they will change, become strange and become so "strange". In fact, there was a little foreshadowing in the early part of the film. When my sister told Yixin, I heard that Meng Jie had a bad relationship with his family and his younger brother, which may be one of the reasons why Meng Jie changed later. Yixin asked her sister not to talk nonsense at that time and not to gossip about these things all the time. But when you see the changes in Meng Jie, will you think of Meng Jie? Yixin may wake up that love at that time was not true love. However, is first love so easy to forget? First love is not necessarily the best, but I think first love is the most unforgettable. Yixin's feelings about Meng Jie should be just like this. When Meng Jie encounters difficulties and finds a new one, I think she can't refuse it. Maybe she really doesn't have that kind of "love" for Meng Jie at this time, but she will help her more or less as a friend. I think this is something that many Chaoshan boys will do.
when xinrui went to Shantou to teach, she faced all kinds of difficulties. In this "exclusive" place, I think she felt really uncomfortable in the face of all kinds of ridicule from her students and colleagues, but she persisted for him because she just wanted to know the city where he had lived for many years. If it weren't for the power of love, I don't think anyone could do it. Hiding Yixin and coming here alone, I think there must be a lot of bitterness in my heart at that time when I met Yixin. Finally, we returned to Guangzhou together. However, I met with other difficulties. I ignored her because I was busy, and later I cheated her because I took care of Meng Jie. When I was wronged so much, I found Yixin and Meng Jie together, and accumulated so many grievances suddenly broke out. Xinrui was also hurt, and Xinrui sighed again. No wonder only girls with the same cultural background can really integrate into your family? This question has never been clearly answered. Although Yixin had no initial feelings for Meng Jie at this moment, she might just be a simple friend, or she just chose to cheat her because she didn't want to be worried by Xin Rui's misunderstanding. But two people are separated like this. If we explain to each other, the misunderstanding will not happen, but life is so cruel that we miss it.
actually, Yixin has tried and persisted. Convince his mother that he wants to go outside and want a big city. Arguing with mom, arguing with mom. Yixin's mother is a traditional woman. She thinks her son is promising, so she should stay in Shantou. Her roots are here and her family is here. Yixin's mother also said that Jean Yixin applied for medical university in those years, but Yixin insisted on applying to CUHK. Yixin's father is suffering from cancer. When Yixin's father is suffering from the disease, his mother may want his son to be a doctor very much, so that he will not be so at a loss when he is sick. There is also a clip in the film that tells that when Yixin's father is ill, his mother is worried about whether to take money to the doctor and how much money to take. This short segment is also the real existence of life. This movie always gives people a very familiar feeling, a very real feeling. When I saw Yixin's mother say that she wanted her son to be a doctor, I also thought of my mother. My mother used to tell us that being a doctor is good and can treat her. Familiar words evoke my childhood memories. Yixin later decided to run away and go outside. Recalling that his mother often told him when he went out to study, when he was away from home, he would make a lot of money safely. He remembers the farewell of his mother and sister and the expectations of his grandfather's family, but there is no one who doesn't want to start a career for the dream in his heart. He left, regardless of his mother's objection, and left without hesitation. If there is no sister to tell him that grandpa had a stroke, I think Yixin should be far away. Just as the plan couldn't keep up with the change, he wanted to give up everything here, but he was also ambivalent. Finally, he chose to stay because of his grandfather. Living an ordinary and boring life, listening to the complaints of three aunts and six grandmothers and dealing with miscellaneous things in the neighborhood Committee every day, although he is tired of all this, he has no choice. Staying in Shantou as a small civil servant, I was envious when I heard my classmates talking about other people's affairs. I think he was also helpless. He has no choice, no choice. The rest is just an ordinary life, and finally I marry someone who doesn't love each other. This is the final story. . . . .
most people in Chaoshan are bound by tradition. The new generation may have ideals and dreams, but sometimes they can't get rid of their families. I think Yixin in the film is pitiful, because of tradition and family, he can only choose to stay in his hometown. He lost his original pursuit, and the rest was a dull life. In his hometown, there is no room to show his ability, and ordinary life makes him become an increasingly mediocre life.
In the new generation, more people want to go out, see a wider world and learn more about local customs. More people choose to go out to study, go out to work and start a business. Many people know that Shantou University is one of the 211 key universities, but more people choose to study in or out of the province for only one reason, because they don't want to be a frog in the well, and the outside world is still very big. Family members may agree that you go out to college, but after graduation, more elders ask you to go back to Shantou to work, because the roots are here. But once you see the vast world outside, how many students want to come back to their hometown and are willing to work there? The development of hometown is difficult, and the limitations of hometown block the way for many students to return home. If my hometown develops well, if my hometown can give me everything I imagine, no one is unwilling to come back. However, the development of Shantou lags behind, and the economy of Shantou is not as good as that of other places, so many people are reluctant to go back to their hometown to work. However, people are always homesick, and most of them are still concerned about their hometown. They have always been concerned about everything in Chaoshan, Shantou, and they still love that root, which is why there is a traffic jam on Shenzhen-Shantou Expressway during the Chinese New Year holiday.
