The opening hours are from 9:00 to 17:00 every Tuesday to Sunday (no entry at 16:00), closed on Mondays (except national statutory holidays).

Shanxi Museum is one of the first batch of national first-level museums and a national-level museum cultivation target established by central and local governments. It is the largest cultural relic collection, collection, protection, research and exhibition center in Shanxi.
