These are the guides that I spent a lot of energy to collect, as well as the eating guides. If you want them, please let me know.
.
There are too many words to fit.
Let me first give you a guide to your itinerary.
I'm going to slowly write a real Xiamen guide, no novelty, no hype.
Since BF is coming to Xiamen, I decided to write a Xiamen travel guide. From the perspective of a foreigner who has been in Xiamen for 3 and a half years, I will tell tourists what to do in Xiamen, what places to go and what places not to go.
1. Before visiting Xiamen, you must first have a big idea: Xiamen Island (also the so-called "urban area") is very small, only less than 130 square kilometers, and Xiamen Island is only one-ninth the size of Pudong.
, you can go anywhere on the island within half an hour by taxi.
Recommendation: Gulangyu Island, a famous scenic spot in the country, a holy land of old buildings and petty bourgeoisie, is a must-see. Zhongshan Road: Xiamen’s most famous pedestrian street, at the end is the ferry, and opposite is Gulangyu Island. Xiamen’s seafood is a must-try.
Large shopping malls: SM, Xiamen District, and Railway Station District are all good. Xiamen’s snacks are of course not to be missed. Hulishan Fort, Huandao Road, Seaside Tingtao, Xiamen, South Putuo, Baicheng Beach, several mountains in Tongan, Zhangzhou Tulou Group and Zhangzhou
Several scenic spots in Xiamen include: Gulangyu Island Tourist Attractions, Huandao Road Tourist Attractions, Wanshishan Tourist Attractions, Jimei Tourist Attractions, Tong'an Tourist Attractions, Xiang'an Tourist Attractions, Haicang Tourist Attractions, Urban Tourist Attractions and Maritime Tourism
The project, among which, Gulangyu Island tourist attractions, Huandao Road tourist attractions and city attractions are located on the main island of Xiamen City, while the remaining scenic spots are distributed in the four districts of Jimei, Haicang, Tong'an and Xiang'an.
2. Regarding preparations before going to Xiamen: (1) Prepare a few more clothes. Some people say "Xiamen is very warm." Yes, the maximum temperature in Xiamen is about ten degrees higher than that in Shanghai, but Xiamen is a city with a huge temperature difference between day and night.
, it is normal for the lowest temperature to reach 4 or 5 degrees at night.
Therefore, you should wear more clothes when coming to Xiamen, especially those who plan to take a night tour on Zhongshan Road.
(2) Book a hotel in advance and book a house in advance. It should not be too far from the city and the scenery must be beautiful. Traveling is a kind of enjoyment.
(3) Do your homework and arrange your itinerary for several days. If you are short on time, you must not miss several important attractions: Gulangyu Island, Huandao Road, and Zhongshan Road Shopping Let’s get to the point, about things to do and eat.
1. Zhongshan Road: Xiamen’s most famous pedestrian street. Given Xiamen’s mini size, Zhongshan Road will not be long.
One end of Zhongshan Road is connected to the ferry, which takes you to Gulangyu Island. There are many snacks and delicacies along Zhongshan Road: Huang Zehe's peanut soup, 1980 roasted pork rice dumplings, Wu Zaitian's taro buns, and actually Huang Zehe's peanut soup is close to the ferry. I really like it.
I don’t think so, maybe it’s too sweet for personal taste.
There are more snacks in the area near Laohu City on Zhongshan Road.
The Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street is full of interesting sculptures of old southern Fujian folk customs. Don’t go out of your way to buy local specialties on Zhongshan Road. It’s very expensive and you can go to large supermarkets if time allows.
2. Ferry: Coming out of Zhongshan Road is the ferry. The building of the ferry is often called the "Little Bund" by Shanghainese like us who are "living in a foreign land". You can imagine the specific style.
You can take a ferry to Gulangyu Island. You don't need to buy a ticket from the ferry to Gulangyu Island. Don't believe those counters that say 15 yuan for a round trip. That's a scam.
Ask the staff where to get on the boat and you can get on the boat directly.
The night view of Gulangyu Island from the ferry is quite beautiful.
There is a famous seafood restaurant on Lujiang Road near the ferry - Little Peter Fishing Village. The seafood eaters are all from southern Fujian. The food is very authentic, affordable and the environment is good.
The signature dishes are Xiamen special fried crab and Xiamen Tulong soup.

I found that this old southern Fujian stall was occupied by Shanghainese like locusts during the holidays. I will go there again when my BF comes.
3. Gulangyu Island When we arrived at Gulangyu Island, the commercial atmosphere hit us. There were all kinds of petty bourgeoisie shops: Tea Time, Zhang Sanfeng, Gu Zhui, BBC. If we are purely passionate about food, we would go in and search every shop.
, go to the most popular Huang Sheng Kee pork shop to buy a pack of original pork and eat it. The clerk is very generous and will send you many pork shops to try.
The Guchui milk tea recommended by Tea Time is indeed good. What’s even more impressive is Guchui’s signature curry crab, which is worth a try. It has a milky and curry flavor that I really like.
As for the oyster omelette, the Hokkien people call it oyster omelette (pronounced: owajian). Xiaoqing said that the one on Longtou Road is delicious, and it can be dipped in Xiamen's sweet and spicy sauce.
Many juice stores have a juicer in front of the door?
It’s better to try the real Taiwanese fruits. I really don’t know why people who are fresh and fresh are still flocking to them.
You can try these famous snacks such as Ye's "Mochi" on Longtou Road and Linji's "Fish Balls" on Quanzhou Road.
Don't be stupid and go to the Ocean Park on Gulangyu Island. There is nothing in it. It is far worse than Changfeng Park, let alone the Shanghai Aquarium.
