According to legend, one day he invited some friends to write poems in the thatched cottage. He was so happy that it was noon. He was worried that he was going to have lunch, but he had nothing. He went to the stove and made his own fish. When his friends saw him cooking fish, they were all surprised. Some of them said suspiciously, "Lao Du, this is something new. Can you write poetry and cook fish? "
Du Fu smiled and said, "Wait, I'll cook for you today." He took out the fish's internal organs and cleaned them, then put the seasoning in a pot and steamed it. After steaming, stir-fry the local sweet noodle sauce, add the pepper, onion, ginger and soup in Sizhou pickle, dress it up with a good lake, make juice, pour it on the fish while it is hot, and then remove the coriander.
Everyone sat down happily and saw Du Fu bring the fish up and stretch his chopsticks. It's really delicious.
All the friends talked while eating. After a while, a fish was eaten up, but the fish didn't have a name yet! So everyone remembered the name of the fish. Some said, "This fish is called Huanxi fish!" Some said, "Old Du Yu is appropriate." Finally, Du Fu said, "Mr. Tao Yuanming is a saint whom we admire. This fish is covered with colorful silk, much like willow leaves. Let's call it Wulingyuan! " After that, everyone agreed with it and found the name interesting. In this way, the mullet barked and became a famous Sichuan dish that has been circulated for more than 1000 years. "Five Flowers Fish" is a famous dish of West Lake in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. It is delicious and fragrant, and is deeply loved by people. People often refer to "mullet" as "Dongpo fish" when enjoying it. Why?
Su Dongpo was a gourmet in Song Dynasty. According to legend, once, he asked the chef to cook a fish dish to make it fresh. After the chef delivered it, he saw that it was delicious and the knife marks on the fish were like willows. Dongpo's appetite was wide open, and he was about to raise chopsticks to taste when he saw a flash of figure outside the window. It turned out to be a good friend, monk Fo Yin. Dongpo thought, "What a monk! I won't let you eat it. What should I do? " So I conveniently put this dish of fish on the shelf.
Monk Fo Yin actually saw it a long time ago and thought, "No matter how well you hide it, I will ask you to take it out." Dongpo smiled and called Fo Yin to sit down and asked, "Isn't the big monk in the temple? What do you think of this? " Fo Yin replied: "I came to ask a question today?" "What word?" "How do you spell the surname Su?" Su Dongpo knew that Fo Yin was very learned, and there must be some truth in it, so he pretended to answer seriously: "There is a grass prefix on the word' Su', the word' fish' on the left and the word' I' on the right." Fo Yin asked again: "Is it' he' on the left and' fish' on the right under the grass head?" "Then read' Su'." "What about the fish on the grass?" Su Dongpo hurriedly said, "That won't do." Fo Yin smiled and said, "Then take the fish down." Su Dongpo suddenly realized that Fo Yin wanted to eat his plate of mullet after all.
Later, on one occasion, Fo Yin heard that Su Dongpo was coming, so he steamed a plate of mullet, thinking that the last time you played a joke on me, I had a hard time today. So he conveniently put the fish in the fragrance beside him.
Unexpectedly, Su Dongpo had already seen it, just pretending not to know. He said, "I want to ask you something: I want to write a couplet, but I can't think of a good sentence when I write the first couplet." Fo Yin asked, "I don't know what the first part is?" Su Dongpo replied: "The first couplet is the first spring in Xiangyang." Fo Yin didn't know what medicine was sold in Su Dongpo's gourd, and said almost without thinking: "The bottom line is that' good people accumulate more than celebrate'." After listening to this, Su Dongpo pretended to exclaim: "A talented student, a talented student!" The original one, there is fish (leftover) in your special (celebration)! Share it with us. Fo Yin suddenly realized that he had been taken in by Su Dongpo. But he also wanted to "tease" Su Dongpo and saw five knives on a steamed fish in the West Lake. Then he smiled and said, "streaky fish." Fo Yin smiled and replied, "This mullet was caught for you. It is better to call it' Dongpo Fish'. "
Since then, people have called "mullet" "Dongpo fish". This famous West Lake dish has become more and more famous and has been passed down to today.
