The custom of temple fairs in Hebei has been around for a long time and is very common.

There used to be 72 temple fairs a year in Hebei. Temple fairs in the old days were very complicated, and some had strong patriarchal concepts and feudal superstition.

Now, people regard temple fairs as a kind of "tourism" and self-entertainment place.

Colorful folk arts such as stilts, lions, dragon lanterns, land boats, running donkeys, bamboo horses, acrobatics, martial arts, etc. are often performed during temple fairs.

At the same time, with the development of history, "passing temples" in various places have gradually formed their own characteristics, such as: Anguo Yaowang Temple Fair, Zhangbei Mule and Horse Fair, Shexian Wa Palace Grandma Temple Fair, etc.

Sixth Grade Hometown Customs Essay Part 2 My hometown is in Shaanxi. It has beautiful scenery, many famous historical sites, and is rich in crisp pears.

It is known as the "hometown of crisp pears".

Walking into the countryside, you seem to have entered the fruit world.

Fields are filled with fruit trees and wheat, including peach trees, pear trees, apple trees, apricot trees, mulberry trees and so on.

They can be seen everywhere on the field ridges, along the roads, and in small courtyards.

Some people also grow some fruits and vegetables in their yards, including vegetables, peppers, tomatoes, bitter gourds, strawberries, raspberries...

They mature according to the seasonal order, and some people plant three or four acres of wheat in their backyards.

Sixth Grade Hometown Customs Composition Part 3 "It rains heavily during the Qingming Festival, and pedestrians on the road feel like dying."

As usual, this year’s Qingming Festival also had drizzle.

My mother and I went for an outing in the Forest Park... When we went up the mountain, we were surrounded by rapeseed flowers!

Thin raindrops fell softly on the petals, melting into crystal water drops.

I saw a few swallows looking for a place to stay at low altitude.

I just enjoyed the fragrance of the forest and mountains, and my feet were already numb from walking. I sat on a stone on the side of the road to rest. My mother took out a green dough ball from her bag and handed it to me. I looked at the green dough ball, which was half the size of my fist.

Because the green dumpling is mixed with glutinous rice flour, it becomes crystal clear, like a round emerald.

"Where are you eating Qingtuan?" Mom smiled and told me a story: Legend has it that one year during the Qingming Festival, a farmer saw the Qing army chasing him and thought he was a Taiping officer. The farmer was so anxious that he dressed up as a Taiping officer.

Later, in order to prevent the Qing army from finding out that he was giving him food, he made green dumplings with mugwort and glutinous rice flour.

Later, the Taiping officer successfully returned to the base camp, and it turned out that he was King Zhong's right-hand general.

In order to commemorate the "Life-saving Youth League", the Taiping Army eats the Youth League every year.

When I swallowed the sweet green dumpling, I suddenly felt that it not only tasted delicious, but also had a power - the power that comes from the wisdom of working people and the struggle for a better life.
