When I climbed the bell tower, a huge bell came into view. The elephant-like bronze bell was hung high on a red wooden frame, and the diameter of the wooden pestle on the side alone was more than 2 centimeters. You can imagine how the ancient bell woke people up from their dreams in the morning.

The bell tower is made of wood, with all kinds of pictures and patterns carved on it. I finally saw the real "carved beams and painted buildings", but I didn't expect the workmanship to be so fine at that time. There are many antiques and grandpa Qi Baishi's works on display in the bell tower, which is simply exquisite. Standing on the top of the bell tower, the whole Xi 'an seemed to shrink immediately and become a map. The straight road with the bell tower as the center extends in four directions: east, west, north and south. It's really strange, why are all the roads in Xi 'an straight?

the drum tower is very similar to the bell tower. The most eye-catching thing is a very, very big drum, which stands there three meters high and one meter thick! People can't help but want to knock twice. If you go further, you will see a whole row of drums with 24 solar terms written on them, which looks like a military parade. It is spectacular and magnificent. There is also a big drum with a height of ten meters in the Drum Tower. The strangest thing is that there is no seam on the drum surface of that drum. How can it be such a big piece of leather?

at night, many dazzling lights hit the bell and drum tower, and the bell and drum tower suddenly became resplendent! Mom said that it is called "light carving" in architecture.

The Bell and Drum Tower is really a wonder of the ancient city of Xi 'an.
